I’m so confused by people in this comment section. I hundred percent agree double cleric bard is a terrible meta, but they are still playing HR. You want streamers to waste time by buying kits for fighter just to crumble when they have a face off with a cleric. Also they are literally facing entire lobbies against them. Fair blaming streamers for playing meta is dumb however double cleric bard is also horrible to watch. I think there is a point that also needs to be made that the meta comp right now is also just boring to watch. There’s very little skill expression I believe it might even be worse than buff barb meta from season one. The cleric range spell is brain dead to hit and the gameplay can be boiled down to if you can catch up to the other team. If you can and they aren’t running the mirror comp you win, that’s it.

I think a lot of the people hating hate the meta and it's not a personal attack on them. The current meta is gross, unfun, and feels wrong in a game like this. The devs aren't at all concerned about balance right now (as they have said recently on podcasts) and it is reflecting on the sentiment of the community towards the game. Fair enough

Aim and prediction of movement isn't all it takes to be good at this game. It's also decision making, game sense, and team coordination. All 3 of which these guys are excellent at. These sad little people can cope as much as they want but 9+ people teaming on a single team is never going to be justifiably widely accepted in any pvp game's community unless the players are genuine pieces of human garbage that somehow deserve it.

I'm totally on Appollo's side that people should learn to play better instead of just playing around crying that people are playing a broken combo. He has already proven more than enough that people can play without having to play Cleric. Honestly I think ratting is a pretty funny part of the game, at least when lone rogues are doing it. It's just so far out of hand right now. If there were a couple rogues per lobby slinking around and picking off gear I don't think there is any harm in it and I think it would be pretty funny to see teams bait out rats as well. Hopefully the game gets to that point eventually.

i had the idea of removing being able to play more than one comp to prevent triple rogue/triple druid rats and then force people to queue trios as a trio not allowed you to go in solo and terrorize the lobby, how do you feel about this idea? I feel like lobbies would be more refreshing due to the need to play more unique comps possibly rather than triple warlock lets say and help with the rat problem. been looking for more opinions on it and im curious how you would feel about it.

Yeah.. there really shouldn't be more than one of any class in a party. Some people will disagree with that because they might want to play a slayer fighter with a pdr fighter for example, but at the end of the day, they should just combo another class. Nobody ever wants to fight double or triple warlock or druid..

I don't think teaming is a big deal in solos unless it's pre-teaming. I think teaming is a pretty fundamental part of solos.. a charisma check in a way. Pre-teaming is straight cancer though. I admit any kind of teaming could get out of hand though so idk

I'm done with HR trios for the most part. Norms has juicers almost every lobby. I can fight them without ESPers, 5th parties in one random corner of the map, no rogue/druid rat squads stealing the gear from my kills while i camp, etc. HR trios are not fun atm, especially with the risk you're taking losing BiS gear to rats and cheaters

Whatever direction has more particle effects in it (such as a torch, bard particles, poison cloud, etc.) the game lags when you look that way and you can tell the FPS in lower, and therefore tell players are in that direction.

THIS is more of a RAT problem than teaming problem as people seen to think, apolo at least seens to be aware of that and in his video title and description.
