both just blatantly sealing art and uploading it AND using ai are practically the same thing. AI "art" is directly stealing from artists to train, which the artists get no compensation from. its also harming the environment greatly in the same way nfts do, just on a greater scale

Every artist does it to some degree, even if its possible to human brain to make something entaerly new without ANY insparation, majority of the humans don't (and can't) do this I'd say that in case of Ai however its closer to visual imaginatoin, than to art

4:21 thats possibly a french name for a pokemon (considering that the card is in french), not sure which since i’m not into pokemon and just found this channel. also i’m 70% sure those girls in the bootleg legos pictures and the backgrounds (specially those cut up lemons, thats why they look kinda funny) are actually real (but to be fair considering that almost everything is AI now i’m not judging the fact you thought of them not being real) (also the shirt on that girl was actually a long-sleeve one, thats why the arm look funky) (+the fingers on that one other girl werent deformed or lacking (or atleast from what i saw)).

AI should be banned to some extent. AI art is just lazy and can barely be seen as a “tool”, since most of the time the “art” comes out looking lazy, and not only that, but the AI “learns” (AKA steals) from different HUMAN artists without their permission.

@@AlNimation64 I think it comes down to this: if AI can perform both the thinking (in whatever sense) and the execution to create art, then what's the point of human artistic endeavors? It will still exist because creative expression is a part of all of us, but I'm sure it would be only a drop in the ocean considering AI "creators" can work nonstop and "create" and a much more prolific pace. My biggest fear is that we're going to be flooded with AI content that won't even be labeled as such, and it will increasingly become more difficult to distinguish it from the work of real people. I truly do fear that.

I think having two channels is the best of both worlds. Yes, Peter's main channel has changed quite a bit as it's progressed from hobby to career, and, like you, I do miss the style of many of the older videos. That's why I'm so happy this second channel exists: Classic Patter in a new way!
