The increase of technology and social media culture makes for dumber, less disciplined, lazy people which makes them easy to be manipulated and dependent on the wrong thing (taking your focus off God and on to self, man and government control). God please awaken your people to the truth and remove all vanity and self-focus. In Jesus Name; Amen!

I watched one of his sermons “” deal with this aggressively “and this sermon was the most powerful thing I’ve ever heard. That night when I heard his word, I had a vivid dream where I was baptised and drowned simultaneously and Jesus rose me from the dead and I woke up in heaven to an eternal life. I want to thank this man for waking me up from the sins in my heart. Glory to God, his mercy endures forever ❤

Spent 20 years in the Air Force. Traveled to over 100 countries… he's had an experience that others like myself have had, in the fact that the holiness and reverence for God outside of America is on a WHOLE NOTHER LEVEL. It is emphatic… and sadly, there are so many distractions in America you have to almost turn radical to keep that level of anointing on you out west… people have no idea the principalities and powers over America… its REAL.

True Been to Guatemala One of my professors told me when you’re in another nation it’s not a contention whether God exists or not, it’s a contention which side has more power. When you’re confronted with a witch doctor it’s not about God’s existence but about, do you believe in who you say you believe. 🙌 Jesus is king 👑

I was worried that 2819 was going to be worldly and trying to appease the culture with Christ as a backdrop. But boy was I wrong listening to this. I just moved to Atl and have been visiting churches for a church home, I will visit 2819 and hopefully I find a new place to grow and be a disciple and spread God’s true word and glorify the church through Christ! Great talk
@travl.moore_777

2819 does not offer magic shows, comedy central goofy antics, make you feel good messages, while you comfortably live the same. My friend stumbled on a reel some months ago, we were in Costa Rica on vacation. I was so captured by that reel, I HAD to find the whole sermon, and I did. For the rest of my vacation, I was almost binge watching 2819 sermons. I had to take a breaks because I needed time to process the Word, it seemed every sermon was hitting me in the gut. This man of God, Pastor Philip Anthony Mitchell, is completely sold out for Him, and he is relentlessly, unabashedly, and unapologetically allows God to use his voice for His glory and the advancement of the Kingdom. Very recently, I was traveling from Houston back to my home in the Northeast. After watching online for months, I made it a point to route my trip through ATL, just so I could worship with 2819 in person. I thank God for that opportunity. If I lived locally, I'd definitely be a regular. Check them out and seek God for where he would have you be.

That’s why in Ecclesiastes 1&2 Solomon speaks about how we’re out here chasing wind. Chasing achievements, money, women, men, etc and when we get it we still feel like something’s missing. The wisest man in the world, who had everything and could do anything he wanted, still didn’t feel fulfilled. The only time he did was when he was doing the work of the Lord! That speaks volumes 🗣️

For Phillip’s question ‘Why do you think there are so many “believers” who don’t want God?’, I think when Preston said they want a form of God, that is so true. Sometimes people are wooed to an aspect of Christ such as him being able to bless and answer prayers. So, they don’t seek him for himself but for the version of him they have in mind according to the need they desire to the filled.

Amen Pastor Philip. I left the Corporate world after 21 years. God made me uncomfortable in many situations while in the executive positions and showed me how all that power was vanity. He put me in very uncomfortable situations with friends and family and He has made me sorely depend on Him as i have no one to turn to. I too lost family and friend ties due to my uncomfortable situations. God has built in me a strong prayer life and the Holy Spirit is so powerful, His presence so elevated and i feel Him. I cannot wait to see what God has planned for me this new season. God bless the Perrys. This pod episode was such a revelation to the body of Christ in the US.

19:56 I must be on a verge of break through because I’ve just I mean the last few days ago arrived here. I finally have the fear of the Lord in me now that I’m facing something life changing. I’m tired of me. I thought I had reached the end of my self when I first gave my life to the Lord. I had no clue how much deliverance I was in need of. Just when I thought I was good he revealed all of my hidden darkness. I went from being on fire, to Pharisee, lukewarm now I’m work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. When you’re this 🤏🏾 close to meeting Christ🤏🏾 I promise finishing well is all you think of. I am scared. I just wanna live Holy(.) I beg for his will to be done. He’s been letting me know that this persecution and discipline is from love.

11:01 last year I had what I can only describe as a personal conviction to get rid of all my clothes and wear all black. Aside from my work uniform, I only wear black clothes. This came immediately after rededicating my life to Christ after a lifetime of lukewarm Christianity. I decided to keep this to myself because I knew I didn’t have the language to justify that choice but for some reason I was envisioning myself in this new life wearing all black. I like to be seen as if I’m attending a funeral because the old me has truly passed away. I also think it’s an outward expression of the discipline I practice as a new creation in the Lord. I don’t think my family has even noticed I’m doing this because I intentionally have not told anyone (I assumed it was between me and God) I’ve been this way for exactly a year now and I can officially speak about my conviction because you just perfectly explained what I could not articulate

I’m glad Philip said that we, the followers in Christ, should AlWANT to dive deeper and get our biblical knowledge at a college level. I’ve felt this for a while because I didn’t feel like reading my Bible and going to church was enough - and I’m new to the faith as of last year. I’ve been hesitant about pursuing it bc I’m not motivated to be a PASTOR of any sort. I just want to know the history and theology of the Lord - past the understanding He’s helped me attain. Plus, I’d love to speak more confidently about what I could learn and share it freely with others around me. I’m so glad yall had him on! Y’all, like always, touched on great points! Much love ❤

When I hear this man talk I know there is a double portion of anointing on him. I feel the same exact way about the church we have no reverence for our Creator. The lack of accountability and the lack of Christian maturity/ diving into the word is obscene. God we need a revival asap to turn this wicked world back to Christ before it’s too late. I had the chance to meet Mr Perry at a Salvation Army young adult retreat and this man is about God. I pray God continues to bless this group of people.

I so resonated when he said a deeper prayer life was developed out of neediness. That's what the past couple years have been for me. I can't live without that time now. The proclamation of the word of God that he delivers is so evident of his time alone with Him. Thankful for his voice at such a time as this. Praying the church come back to their first love. 🙏🏼🙏🏼

There will be a spiritual awakening! God will raise them up, where we as the "church", the body of Christ failed them. We'll have to endure somethings as a result of our disobedience in the body of Christ, but the Lord will raise them up and they will be fearless, bold, and courageous. The days of playing church is over, in Jesus Name, Amen.

May God bless you all. I am an evangelistic preacher in KY and specifically called out of darkness 8yrs ago to declare The Word of God in all Truth unto the entire proclaiming church. Regardless of denomination lines, The Lordship of Jesus Christ must be proclaimed and I so appreciate all three of you for the wake up call to the proclaiming church. May the anointing of The Word continue to strengthen you all servants, children and heirs of The Kingdom in the mighty name of JESUS!! Amen

Praise God for this conversation and all of your commitment to Yeshua’s commission. I had never heard of Pastor Mitchell before this podcast so I checked out some videos. After having heard several of his sermons over the last 48 hours, I believe the Lord directed me to his ministry. Just watching from home in my bed, stirs the Holy Spirit within. Thanks for having him, Prestons. I praise You Abba for knowing each of us PERSONALLY. 🩵🙏🏽 BTW, He is 100% correct about the American “church”.

This is timely and on point, pray for me to stay on the narrow path and the church at large, we need to release the pleasures of this world come out and be separate. It’s not about ministry and platforms but holiness and surrender to God. No one knows when Christ is coming, but we can feel that something is coming for sure. I pray that repentance is that thing so that we don’t get consumed by our desires

I love this! My pastor goes deep. We get the theology. He wasn't always like this, though. The Greek words and what they mean. Then, we have a discussion after the message to ask questions, reflect aloud, and comment. It's perfect! We have 50 people on a good Sunday. ❤

The conversation kinda reminds me of David Wilkerson from New York City. I never heard preaching the way he preached before. He passed by the time I heard about him, but I go back and listen often cause the way the Lord uses him is incredible and has that harsh love nobody wants but everyone needs from time to time

My father is the finest man of God to ever grace the pulpit. His in depth teaching of the Word and adherence to the intention of the Authors of scripture ruined me for Sunday morning preachers who give you the three t’s of tithing a song and a funny video clip and send you off for the week among wolves . My father raised up his congregation in the Word. So many went out from his church to minister themselves. Since he retired I’m still searching for a church body where the Word is taught with that level of Holy Authority. 😢

I like this man because he’s allowed his discipleship to go to a place of risk. Far too often we protect our faith so much so that we end up compromising it. Jesus said that if we try to save our lives we’ll lose it but if we’re willing to lose our life for him we’ll find it. Long-Suffering is one of the fruits of the Spirit talked about in Galatians 5 and it’s something that this man is leaning into. I pray that he’s prepared, and the whole body of Christ is prepared, for the increased suffering that’s soon to come in this last age for Jesus. “For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.” ‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭ESV‬‬

People of God we have to keep this brother covered in prayer. God has called Pastor Philip to help Georgia come into a place of repentance. God's grace is sufficient. But, God is not pleased with the way church leaders have taken advantage of his sheep. He's also not pleased with the sheep for not studying the word to show themselves approved 2 Timothy 2:15. As Pastor Philip said, the idolatry and the acceptance of sin in theses church's here hurts my heart. Teachers/Leaders, you will be held to a higher accountability. James 3:1. Repent, God is not playing, nor is he pleased. Please keep this brother covered in prayer. This interview had so much meat.

God is always at work. A city, country, state or whatever is hard to reach you better believe that Jesus is getting someone prepared. But I am not going to lie Pastor Phillip is anointed. I feel a stronger conviction. It makes me so uncomfortable. And I genuinely appreciate it because I’ve been living in ignorance about a lot of things. God always reminds me I can do so much more and I’ve been lazy. We’ve got to do better. There is a huge shift going on.
