I grew up listening to this album. I have played it for all my kids and now I'm sharing it with my Gran-kids. I want to share what my Mom and Dad shared with us because they never knew Mom and Dad , they passed before they were born. Thank You Statler Bros for your gift to the world...Great Music!

First time in 10 years I have been able to listen to these god sent voices. Thanks for posting it, and Thank You Statler Brothers for the best songs ever. And to my Dad, your voice is no longer with us, but I can still hear you singing along with your favorite group :)

My sons grew up listening to the complete album. I did not think they were paying attention. However, now they both have their own families. A few years back the oldest asked me where the tape was. I got it for him. He took it and made everybody a CD. They both said that was Christmas to them........a tradition for us now that was started many years ago. Thank you Statler Bros.

Great Song, I can only imagine the joy of Christmas 1945, the war was over and the soldiers were coming home. I lost an Uncle 1-15-45 during the Battle of the Bulge. 20 years old.

Thought this song was great as a kid. Now having lost my grandpa and uncle, it takes on a lot more meaning.

After you have lost your parents this one hits close to home. Had an uncle killed during the Battle of the Bulge and another wounded several times in the ETO. I just can't imagine what is was like to have been aroun during that horrible war.
