I was so fortunate to hear this music, live. Your music, the MEN ensemble and Les Green transported me to a wonderful place, and I'm so grateful to have experienced it. You are a wonder Mr. Untersheher. (I shook your hand afterward when you were on stage talking to Les and I was on the main floor. Made my trip back to Silverton much shorter and more pleasant. :)

Glorious. The time signature changes flow easily with the text. And . . . I love anything with a Picardy Third - especially with that C# - G# open 5th in the bass. When sung properly, that will make the floor shake! Excellent work!!

That low C# just gives me the chills.....as a bass myself I wish I could go down that low but unfortunately I can only go down to a low E
@nicholas19karr6 жыл бұрын
Going down to a low E makes you a Bass? I'm considered a Baritone/Tenor 2 for my rage. (D2 - G4)
@jazzmusictheorist6 жыл бұрын
@@nicholas19karr The low E is normal for a bass.....anything lower is considered basso profundo
@nicholas19karr6 жыл бұрын
@@jazzmusictheorist well, I don't know a lot about vocal ranges, but I guess.
@bakuliusangel500g6 жыл бұрын
@@jazzmusictheorist tenors are usually C3 and above. Baritones are between F2 and G2 while basses are from E2 or D2 and up. Voice type isn't measured by how low you can go but rather how resonant and rich the note and tone is. Just because someone can go to an E2, doesn't mean that they're a bass, it's all about resonance and quality of the note. I'm a barritone because I can sing from an Eb2 up to a G4, but Im placed under baritones because the nicer tone of my voice lies between the G2 and E4. Even though I classify as "bass" and "tenor", my voice is more baritone simply because that's where my richest tone lies. Nicholas over here has a low range, but the nicer tone of his voice probably lies in his upper register, which is why he's classified as a tenor and not a bass, despite singing lower than what a bass usually sings. A basso profundo is a bass that can sing anything below a low C2 with resonance and tone. They sing their notes as easily as a bass would a G2. I strongly urge you to find out where your true tone resides since most of us guys technically fall under baritones since it's the most common voice type for men.

Multi-track studio recording, I recorded all the tracks myself.

may I ask which library do you ise? I mean because of the text. Not all libraries allow the use of text. Is very well done! Not only the composition itself but the recording/production.
@RegInWA5 жыл бұрын
@@JuanMariaSolare It is not a library-- I sang all the lines myself, one track at a time.
