4:59 into this stellar video - "32" seconds left in the game when the ball crosses into Steeler territory - Yep convinced me he was. ... and at 2:47 ... the "lift" of the ball into Fitz's hands at the 32yd line... ... not to mention at 2:23 Maulet turning it back after a grab of his own at - you guessed it - the 32yd line... should we go on, L&H? It's hard to deny the "lifted" hurdle of Najee at 3:28 at the 50 - crossing onto the Raiders turf... was it the wind chill giving me goosebumps ( -32F) at that moment and others' ? Cam's sack at the 3:51 mark in the 4th qtr took Carr off his feet at the 32yd line... and his out-stretched snow-angel posture... he was feelin' a "presence" laying across that spot on the field...

I never got the opportunity to watch the amazing dynasty of the 70s Steelers as I wasn't born yet...on top of that I was born into a Bengals family...but after the 2nd Cowboys-Bills Super Bowl I learned who the right team was to root for and have been a Steelers fan ever since. Franco was the groundwork for what this franchise became and it all wasn't that 1 play (albeit it is the greatest moment in franchise and NFL history) he was an amazing player for his career. So glad the boys got the win tonight and with it being last second heroics made it even more emotional. RIP #32 Franco Harris you will be missed but never forgotten not just as a player but as a kind humble amazing human being.

Kp did amazing. Remember, they're asking a rookie to throw the ball 40x. That's not normal. Very few rookies could do what he is doing. The cold hard ball caused him to just miss pat once a shade high, dj missed 2 that a top wr would catch, but I'll give him more wiggle room with the hard ball up high, (even though gp didn't have any issues). That throw for the win was absolutely a top-notch qb throw. In the middle, through traffic, right on the numbers.

I'm 64, been a Raiders fan pretty much all my life can remember watching the game and Franco's catch as it actually happened as a 13 or 14 yr old kid, loved how the game was played back then, more so then the modern day game. I can't hardly stomach watching the Raiders now days though, just awful and been awful for going on years now. The faces change but the lazy, crap inconsistent football seems to stay the same year in and year out for this formerly great franchise..anyway....RIP Franco Harris you were definitely one of the greats.

As a Pittsburgh native and lifelong Steelers fan there are specific times that you can point to and say....I am truly proud. I was very proud of Coach Tomlin when he wore the #32 in his post-game interview. And I was truly proud to hear about how all of the present players paid respect to Franco Harris. Yes....Franco Harris was great and I am proud of the Steelers organization.....players and coaches, past and present, in how they honored him. Thank you for giving a fan such a memorable and touching moment in time.

I still think that Najee Harris should have worn #32 for the first half. It would have been the same vibe as when the #3 car returned to NASCAR. There was a race this summer where the #3 car finished first and the #8 was second. Old times.

Just think, if we win the last 2 all we really needed to was to win 1 more game and we would've hit the wild card entry.. I was really surprised that we won as many games as we did this year.. At week 5 when we were 1-4 i figured we wouldn't win more than 3 or 4 games this season.. Now i am thinking had we pulled through on week 2 against NE or week 7 against miami or even the Ravens game on dec 11th , we would have a real shot at being in the tournament. Instead i believe we will miss it this year but next season looks promising.

Looking forward to the future with Pickett so this isn’t a knock on him but the offense needs to get off the damn ground. The SB was 38-35. This is a scoring league and the Steelers have a very good defense most of the time so the Steelers need to start scoring more like 24-27 pts a game vs 18…. I believe they can do it but to say this season on offense wasn’t frustrating is an understatement

Kenny has progressed from week to week and can very much so become a top qb under Tomlin and Canada. I don't see how other people think otherwise.?!@# he is a rookie, he's gettin better at seeing the entire field. he's already learning his progressions. he uses his legs in a timely way w/o simply taking off at first sign of pressure. and he's become much better protecting the ball. even the interception against the Raiders, I think his motion was impeded. otherwise it's not one imo. i may be wrong tho. hes accurate and can throw with anticipation. our TOP has increased dramatically with Pickett under center. but more importantly he is already showing that he can step up in big moments and pull out a W, with 3 comeback victories already under his belt. and did I mention he is just a rookie.? anyhow, yeah I feel next season we can make a run with Pickett. especially bein on a rookie contract and having 3 picks in the top 55 or so of the draft. this is the start of a new golden era for the black & gold! love it! go Steelers!

Not to mention he was one hell of a football player also ( And I MEAN That In The BEST WAY Possible ) I'm a Pittsburgh Boy I grew up on the NORTHSIDE IN MANCHESTER Liverpool & Chateau st. During My Youth as one of many kids in the area that saw ,waved or even said hello to Franco as he went about His normal life when He lived in the area up in the Historic Mexican War Streets. I've also Had the Pleasure/ Privilege of Meeting THE CHIEF Who Lived over on Lincoln Avenue He Would walk over to the Fort Wayne store to pickup his Cigars and the post gazette and sometimes stop and watch us kids playing street football ( You kids that were there know who you are) He was Another Great Man that Was Humble and Giving. I am A Proud Pittsburgher And Pennsylvanian Living and Thriving in San Diego ca. I HAVE NEVER forgotten from where I came from and how to carry myself as I Live my life with the same humbleness and kindness in my day-to-day life I hope I can be remembered as an good man/ person. But if not I gave it my best please forgive my shortcomings ( to my family and friends that know me well ) VIVA!!! #32 FRANCO VIVA!!! THE CHIEF VIVA!!! THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS!!!
