It would be so cool to one day have Mighty Mo or #10 have a meet with the NCRR trains in New Freedom! One day, hopefully!

I was lucky enough to ride behind #10 all the way to Tolna in 2001. I'm glad to see the railroad is still hanging on, but man does it look rough now compared to back then. Hope they can keep it going and continue to improve and expand!

I live just a few miles away and know all these roads and crossings, but I've never seen the train....so cool, thanks!

Looks like they gave her a repaint from the photos I've seen of when she used to wear green. Hopefully one day they can repair the rundown portion as well, back up to operating standards.

Little information on the NCR trains, once their busy season starts they'll have the train north to south the GP the twin sisters the four yellow coaches with the steam engine for show. after checking the #17 over last winter and reviewing the data on it they realize the four coaches are just a little too heavy for the steam engine on the 1.5% climb out of glen rock back to New Freedom, so for now on most trains the engine doing most of the work will be the Geep. straight from a train crew member. The Stewartstown RR I can't believe they still run the train rocks and bumps, jumps and kicks as you roll over poorly jointed track, yet every year they somehow pay the bills.
