The John Squire and Liam Gallagher collabs are sort of like the Stone Roses and Oasis merging into a pleasing hybrid. Liam's voice is elevated. John's guitar is inspired. (But, I still like this stuff.)

In my early teens in the mid seventies I got into music , Thin Lizzy, UFO, Wishbone Ash, Rainbow etc who still love today, then came punk ,I was seventeen. The Pistols, X ray specs, The Adverts, Penetration etc who I still love today. Early eighties arrived, I was twenty, The Smiths, could anything get better ? Had to wait till 1989, then the best album ever, nothing I have heard before or since has come close and with Sugar Spun Sister the best song ever recorded.
