Aircraft manufacturers must consider the brake parachutes as a last emergency brake option which I think is not a difficult thing to be installed in the tail section of any aircraft especially those aircrafts that operates on such types of short and dangerous runways in order to avoid such types of incidence in the future. Two emergency parachutes can be also installed on both wings of the aircraft which will help in stopping the aircraft facing other major brakes failure.

The STOBAR or CATOBAR (brakes) that are usually installed on aircraft carriers for stopping the aircrafts during landing on the aircraft carrier can also installed on such types of dangerous and short runways that can help in avoiding aircraft from falling into rivers, ocean or ditches at the end of the runway. I don't know why the aviation industry is not thinking regarding such safety measures especially for the short and dangerous runways?
