That was put together really well. There are certain nuances to the stories told which are more often overlooked and looked through rose tinted lenses. Good to know people are trying to look beneath the layers to get to the core of these stories. Both the Ramayana and the Mahabharata are very much relevant to these days. Thank you for putting forth this effort to pull the attention towards it.

Love is not the significant theme. Its the presevation of dharma for the peaceful existance of people under kshatriyas who ruled with the help of great sages guidance . Dharma was totally on the downward trend during Dhritarastra/ Duryodhana's reign, that is rather in the second half of chandra vanshis. So the dharmayuddha "Dharmakshetre kurukshetre"... Krishna tried his level best to restore Dharma through pandavas. He dies 36 years after the war, After his death Kali sets foot on the earth. Means Adharma takes the lead from then onwards.

Agreed. Like I mention in the episode, Dharma is the overarching theme of Mahabharata. But it is an extremely nuanced story, it would be a shame if we didn't get more from it. And, as I specified, the fact that I felt love was a (not 'the') significant theme in the story, was a personal opinion-I think love is a significant theme and it is a pretty big part of this wonderful book. We take from the book what gladdens our soul and I think that's kind of the point of it. Thank you for sharing your point of view! 😁
