The info about Teardrop's lyrical creation isn't completely accurate. I read an interview where Liz Fraser spoke of the song. Please see below... The news that Buckley had disappeared - he drowned, swimming in the Wolf river in Memphis - came while Fraser was recording Teardrop with Massive Attack. "That was so weird," she says. "I'd got letters out and I was thinking about him. That song's kind of about him - that's how it feels to me anyway." It seems she is haunted by guilt: for not being there for Buckley, for everything. As she puts it: "I need to forgive myself."

You are absolutely correct my man, thank you for clearing this up. Very good video though! The info on what this song is about is kinda a messy thing. There are a few rumors here and there that do make sense. An can. A song is supposed to be taken in many different ways, it doesn't speak specifically. Therefore, it can be taken in many ways. The drowning is correct though, I know what you were speaking about when she spoke about the subject. Amazing song STILL.
