I'm so eager to see Brunson winning a championship so all these hot-take personalities shut up about him not being A1. The man has won in every single level, and even multiple times like he did in the NCAA.

I never believed a player more than Jalen to get the knicks a chip!

Longtime Knicks fan here. Funny, but my favorite players were always on other teams. Now I have my favorite player on my favorite team.

To steal a line from Black Thought from his freestyle which to this day is the best ever done and to apply it to Jalen Brunson: Jalen Brunson is a walking affirmation that hard work, focus, and patience will get you closer to your aspirations. The guy is over a decade younger than me and inspires me.

My kids think of me as the die hard NFL fan. I grew up an NBA fan first and the NFL third behind MLB. I was watching the Knicks get torched by Jordan EVERY FLIPPIN YEAR! What they became in the 2000s was just ugly. To the point, I just had to turn it off. It hurt being a knicks fan and it was just easier to turn it off. Got a little splash of NBA when the splash brothers did their thing and my newborn was waking me up in the middle of the night during the 2016 playoffs... But I just turned it off again. Hurt too much being a knicks fan. Maybe I am fair weather or whatever you might call it, but as a father of 3, why the F would I waste my time watching the knicks when I could be doing things with my kids. That all changed when they got Brunson. I heard the news and I watched his story on KZbin. Such an easy guy to like and I became intrigued. I turned it one here and there but now...? My little guy that watched the splash brothers with me in 2016 now loves the Knicks, when my other two kids do not give a crap. Now that Jordan has long since retired, I think this might be the best Knicks team with the best chance to win it all that I have ever seen. I do not think I have ever liked a basketball player as much as I like this guy. Heart and humility are what lacked in this NBA for a long time and this kid has them both. I hope he gets EVERYTHING that he wants because he has earned it. Great video!!

i get what becky was saying how the bigger players are favored but what she didint realize is brunson plays the game like hes shai's height
@lirpa23005 ай бұрын
Even if the bigger players are favored, that doesn't mean you can't win with small guys. She made it seem like there were no small players who led teams to a championship. And Steph is NOT the exception based on his 3 point shooting, other small guys have led teams or were the reason why a team won a championship. Isiah Thomas and Chauncey Billups from the Pistons, Tony Parker in the 2007 Finals (they don't win that series without him which is why he was MVP of that Finals). So although not the norm or the usual, it's not impossible for a smaller player to lead a team to a championship. She was wrong. And if you remember, the media for years made the same comments when it came to Steph saying he would not be able to win a championship or dominate because of his size and his early injuries and he proved them wrong, just like Brunson will.

What's amazing to me was that the Mavs managed to draft both Luka and JB. But the Mavs didn't know what they really had in JB.

i'm not sure either of them would have reached their potential on the same team tbh

Sad, we didn't learn from Step Curry, stop betting against players with a Big Heart..... they will continue to prove people wrong #JalenBrunson He was better than most of these one and done ...the level of disrespect is unreal; he had a proven track record of winning.
