On the subject of Hawks, I gotta say, it's super interesting that his dad, who was probably charged with domestic abuse, got arrested by another domestic abuser. It really goes to show how hypocritical hero society can be.

? No? While it is a fact Hawk's dad is an abuser, he was caught for car thief, not for abusing his family. The abuse only got found out later on.

@@otomeng5230 Well yeah, I know that. What I’m saying is that he was definitely charged for it. Like, after he was caught for theft.

Hawks has a rough childhood, his father was a thief and her mother is a stay-at-home mom who doesn’t do anything but watch TV. The day that he admires Endeavor very much is when he sees his father being arrested. He felt free and saved from his abusive nature.

True but what would he think about his hero when he new about how abusive endeavor waa towards his family? If he knew this as a kid i wonder what he would have turned out to be

@@seungmininthebuildungriize.is7 Probably betrayed, because, unlike his dad, Endeavor is way worse. But it's a good thing he doesn't know from the start. He may be different from the Hawk’s we know.

@@seungmininthebuildungriize.is7 But his just a kid from the beginning of his childhood. Probably he should believe in a good hero. Endeavor however in the past only cares about his career rather than being a real hero. Glad he changes.

Must’ve crushed him after he found out that Endeavor was no different than his father. To know that your savior isn’t as heroic as you were made to believe…

Part of the power of Hawks, Aizawa, Kurogiri, Fuyumi, Tokoyami's and Dabi's story, is what we don't see. Like each of these characters have gone through true trials but we really are only getting glimpses at a time. Unlike in dare i say an anime like Escaflowne, Made in Abyss or Berserk we just get enough of the trauma to leave an impression but are still left thinking, "oh lord! What else happened!?" Mha really is well written.
