Traditional Jamdani has thread count of 40 to 150, while some of the Muslin saree has over 2000. A special variety of carpus cotton with proper humidity weather is required. To produce these types of thin threads, you need super expert workers with thin fingers. Thus young persons specially girls are suitable choice for this.

@@pinkymasih8233UNESCO recognised Bangladesh for it's culture of Jamdani weaving and Bangladesh has the Geographical indication for Muslin and Jamdani. The name literally has the word "Dhaka" in it, which is the capital of Bangladesh.
