Our founder, Claudine Andre started Lola ya Bonobo in 1994 with the goal to protect bonobos in Kinshasa. Here she talks about where Lola was when it first started, and it’s future direction.
It’s been 25 years and our mission remains the same. To rescue, rehabilitate, release, and protect bonobos!

An amazing woman with a truly important goal in sight. Teaching the children is most important. Many older people do not understand the importance of the natural systems of the world. I stand with you all at Lola ya Bonobo. Thank you. And thank you Leon for showing this important video.

What a superb lady ! Claudine André is like Jane Goodall. We are so lucky to have heroes like that. These heroes who want to save our planet and who work so hard to help us to survive in this world at the same time.

I love to see the brown skinned beautiful people interact and take care of these beautiful animals because it looks so much more natural, I mean it's like they truly understand and need each other because they can feel each other's PAIN. I feel that these beautiful and nurturing MELANINATED people knows exactly how to care for these beautiful animals more better than anyone else mainly because of their struggles. the brown/black skinned beautiful people and the majestic animals have a lot in common when it comes to the struggle to survive, the struggle is real for both!!!!🖤❤💚🥰

Your beautiful "MELINATED" people are the ones that kill these human like animals and EAT THEM. I think you're homies are savage and always will be.

Amazing, she did this for the sake of the bonobos. She wasn’t fishing for recognition, just doing the right next thing. It’s easy to protest but it’s another thing all together to work at the solution.

For the hypocrites of the Un: You can't stop meat-eaters for 76 years? You are created to help the weak. So stop all meatcombenates first. Then talk to all the people who don't end up. A man without Honor, a man without princes, a man without princes a dead man. Even in the darkness, we have a choice whether to reflect light. That weapon is really strong, but the desire to become better will give you limitless power. Decomposing others? That's not why a man is born. It's time to go to war.
