@@awizardstolemyname8529 a leaked filming schedule shows they called their goodbye scene "Dean & Benny break-up" and then the next scene is "Dean feels bad about the break-up" and an original script had Dean saying "this life? We can't afford attachments. Best to just... Let it go" to which Charlie asks him if he broke up with someone lol so yeah. Dean x Benny canon

Good ole Benny, one of the best characters on the show. A character that had such as interesting background, and so much potential, that was totally wasted. Benny could've been a great addition to the list of hunters in the supernatural universe. Imagine a vampire that's a hunter. The show could've had its very own Blade. But no, Benny became another in a long list of great characters that got thrown away.
