Black Survival has really interesting lore and I would honestly love to see a novel or show about it. I've also played Immortal soul before eternal return came out and it's easier than eternal return. Though it does require more luck. Keep up the great work on the videos!

@@nahanpodlejski7605 well yeah, it does require more luck since you just leave it to chance and hope you get the items you need. You also only have 6 item slots. Food and drinks are a LOT more valueble since it heals you the full amount instantly, that and stamina is easily consumed every time you move or search. You also need to attack everytime and almost never use run when you encounter a player. It also took me awhile to get used to everything since you also need to memorize where the items you need are and the ingredients you need to craft your gear. But in the end it just depends on your preference, whether you like the 2d more RNG dependent one or the 3d moba survival one. I also heard in a video that immortal soul is like a cooking game since once you get your items, you just craft food and drinks the rest of the game and transition only when you get mithril, meteorite, etc. Sorry for the huge wall of text.

Tbh, out of the character that I wanted to see fight lore wise, was Jackie and Wickeline, the first experiment fully animated, all other test subjects ready for the first round , and not even expecting they got throw in with two monsters in human form, visually seeing it now, that it's just Jackie and Wickeline cleaning house with everyone, but the end fight between the two would be a show itself to see! (Btw great job as always Adri, nice to know the lore for once!)

Have you read the Manga for Black Survival manga at all? I'm not 100% sure if its cannon, or not, however if it is there is a whole lot more lore I'm sure you would be able to find. Sadly not all of it is translated, so some Korea members of the community might need to help us out.

thanks, i was reading a webcomic about story but it was abandoned i guess? if may i add one thing is that there are subjects like hyunwoo that in one experiment his memories weren't reset and that's why he learned how to use VF, and there are many stories but it's quite hard keep the track

Wait so it's just implied that all the times the characters get killed during the battle royal, there's just never an instance where their heads get smashed in or their brains get destroyed in any way? 🤔 I don't know about yall but I think Eleven would have busted some heads with that burger stick she's got going on at LEAST a few times.

Nice vid!! I was searching for hours trying to find bits of lore and then I found this vid, really helps clear things a lot while being simple. Though I wonder how the process of choosing the new participants went since they all have their own backstory and some are even famous people, I hope they continue with the world building and lore!!

I honestly think you should consider doing videos on the character lore; I know that's a thing in either Japan or Korea and it looks cool, but it doesn't seem to be a thing in the West. Someone mentioned the manhwas, and there are three (I guess two, technically?): - Black Universe, which goes deeper into lore of certain characters like Hyejin or Jackie (unfortunately I don't think anyone got around to translating it, at least as far as I can tell) - Black Survival (fairly sure it's part of BU), a story for a survival game - Black Survival: Bottomless Pit, which focuses on Wickeline's character

I'm going to definitely do research on character lore and see if I could do a video or something based off that! There would need to be enough substance which is what I currently lack for each character right now but sounds like those resources could help

@@Adritoma Besides the character journals you've linked the doc for, IS' Aglaia/Battle Pass does have stories as well. They don't really influence the main story (except small implications that don't really go anywhere, ex. Wickeline working on a project called Akhlys that would help them escape, before being intercepted by Nadja), but they help flesh out the test subjects and their interactions with each other. There were also some ideas that didn't really make into a full-fledged story AFAIK, like how Chiara would take Camilo's flirting as God sending the devil to test her.
