My favorite DbD original is probably The Doctor. No tragic backstory whatsoever, he's just plain evil, a true sadist. And he gets to kill the lore "villain" too.

Eh, I mean he became that way because of his obsession. The story I read in the mobile version talks about the project being an actual non-fatal project. Students would be separated into "Interrogators" and "Prisoners". The prisoners were given information before hand that they would have to keep secret, like if it was an actual case. Herman was an interrogator, and his mentor told him that he should get the information "by all means necessary". The prisoners could lie about the information, so that was usually a bummer for Herman. The electroshock therapy was very powerful, and the prisoners would almost spill the beans because of how strong it was, but they would lie to him. This frustrated Herman, but he was fascinated by how effective his work was. Slowly he would become more obsessed with the electrotherapy than the actual answer. One of the prisoners couldn't take it anymore and told the truth to Herman, trying to end the pain. But Herman would be convinced the subject was lying like usual, so he kept pressing. Eventually the prisoner died, and Herman snapped. He stopped caring about the answer completely, and decided "Fuck it, I gotta see how good this works". And badabing badaboom, we got the hehehehe doctor.

his story also feels like the most scary one out of them all for me, i've heard that this killer is actually based on a true person/story out there of a doctor named Yang Yongxin, if you search who herman carter is based off, you see this. it was a real doctor using shocktherapy to supposedly cure young people with an addiction to the internet and such, there actually is a video on youtube called "the real-life horrors of the doctor" it makes it even scarier for me

Just here to explain a bit about Amanda’s story. After becoming Jigsaw’s disciple, Amanda had to learn how to make traps and tests of her own. Unfortunately, Amanda didn’t follow Jigsaw’s ways of offering people salvation as she deemed them unworthy of such mercy. Amanda started rigging all her tests, making them impossible to complete. When Jigsaw found out about this, he was utterly disappointed and that’s why he decided to give Amanda another test, one that she failed. Hope this helps. Just found her story to be a bit incomplete.

I have a theory about the twins. Do you think that Victor is actually alive? Like maybe he wasn’t actually resurrected and is controlled by the entity, maybe a part of the entity. Maybe he’s a husk powered by fog or maybe charlotte becoming dormant when controlling Victor explains it, Victor is charlotte and charlotte switches between these minds not really noticing what’s happening. IMO now is a great time to play. Over the years the devs have updated the game to try to be more balanced for both survivors and killers. But the tradeoff is there is a ton of survivors and killers and perks to learn now, but in a week or two you'll get the hang of it!

I just turned 48 last month so I am from an era where we were brought up to play games in a real life environment without being able to not give a fuck about anyone else and hide behind internet Anonymity. So to me DC'ing is the same as flipping over the board or taking your ball home in a sulk..... ie shitty behaviour that is selfish, weak willed and pathetic. When you ready up for an online game imo you should finish it. If that match pissed you off by all means don't play another match until you are ready to try again. This attitude of I don't like X and I am sure everyone agrees we me so I am justified in DC'ing is spoilt brat behaviour imo. For example I HATE vs'ing Bubbas and Weskers but I won't DC just cos I feel that way. I accept them as part of the game and just get on with it and make the best of it. If you cannot handle vs'ing every Killer/Survivor Strat and playstyle in the game then you need to either grow up and get some balls (or overies) or find another game to play. Why should ones opponent/team mates be punished with a Depip just because the DC'er is a selfish brat ? That are making up their own rules of what is acceptable to be in the game or not. Its like a Chess player resigning everytime they have to play as Black because they only want to play as White. So yes .... imo DC penalties should deffo stay with just one DC allowed per 24 hours to not punish the odd innocent crash or internet/power outage or other such emergencies. Having said all the above. I do acknowledge that the game should have accessability options for players with Emetophobia, Coulrophobia or Sensory Overload etc. so they do not suffer due to their phobias/conditions. The games also has to safe guard against players killing themselves on hook. Or being left to bleed out for 4 minutes. Or survivors hiding and not attempting gens once the game is lost. So I suggest the following: Survivors should be able to be able to set a non-clown skin to be displayed to them while vs'ing Clown. Plague does not vomit or cause vomiting on the survivors screen but fires "FairyDust" at the survivors and gens instead. Doctor's Madness level 3 plays white Noise intead of that headache inducing racket. Etc. You should only be able to attempt to unhook yourself if all other survivors are either hooked, downed, dead or escaped. Also get rid of the, not even attempting 2 skill checks in stage 2 kills you, if there is more than one other survivor left in the game. (Thus still allowing for Hatch plays) Allow a survivor either kill themselves or get up if they have been slugged for 2 minutes. If none of the survivors touch a gen, heal or have a chase after a certain amount of time ...... say 2 minutes ...... then the End Game Collapse automatically starts.
