captain's sidearm, actually. kinda like the alien blaster but with a shotgun spread. similar to the unique 44 pistol called paulson's revolver in mothership zeta. does good damage if all pellets hit, but it's a dream come true with high-luck crit builds, since each pellet has a chance to crit.

I even looted crap under the cafeteria the first time I explored Raven Rock. Got my hands on so much premium silverware that fell through the grate that way! I really love this place though. It carries more premium laser and plasma weapons and ammo for them per capita than any other building I can think of! Not to mention it is THICK with power armor types I love, like Tesla.

*magazine. There are only 3 types of clip: stripper, moon, and en bloc. Those are the only things you can call a clip. No Fallout 3 weapons use clips.

Actually, revolvers can use "clips". They're called moon clips. They hold a full cylinder of cartridges in pieces of slim steel. You drop the whole thing into a cylinder in one motion.

I forgot that one time I had Sticky wait for me while I went through murder pass and I had given him a mini gun and as I was escaping Raven Rock for like the 5th time ( I did multiple character play throughs) and I heard Sticky helping Fawkes pick off the enclave soldiers as the door was opening and I was so happy but then the explosion distracted me and then Fawkes dialogue distracted me that I didn’t realize that Sticky ran into the tiny cave to run to me and he was completely decimated. I only found a few bloody pieces of what used to be his body. I was so devastated that I re loaded b/c I wanted to see Sticky be a bad ass again but when I reloaded he was cowering in a corner while Fawkes did all the work and then the explosion killed him again so I just looted his obliterated corpse again and recruited Fawkes and went on

Colonel Autumn also immediately shot James's assistant the moment he didnt give in. And james probably would have been willing to accept help...if he didnt already know just how bad the enclave was He knew them by sight alone- despite them never really Being in the capital wasteland before (presumably held up in raven rock all this time) but he knew exactly who they were by sight alone. Meaning he knew what they were like. And knew theyd just abuse his gift to the world I dont like this game but i suppose they thought that out a little at least

Hey Ox, it's been so great to revisit this story and maybe see some options I hadn't considered. I've been trying to get a copy to play on any format for me for a while (ever since I think you first started playing through some of the side quests/scenarios or maybe it was Point Lookout) and I finally have a hard copy for my Xbox One. For whatever reason, my laptop will play New Vegas from Steam, but not Fallout 3. At any rate, now I feel like I can play along with you through the story and locales of the Capital Wasteland, just like I did with New Vegas and before that Fallout 4. Keep doing what you do, I appreciate it and it renews my love of the series, even when there are plenty of bad actors involved in the community. It's refreshing to see someone who is genuinely positive, even amidst any flaws of the series.

Fallout 3 reauires extra stuff downloaded for windows 7 or higher. Its stupid and annoying. Just google fallout 3 not working windos 8 or 10 or whatever Seriously i constantly hear everyone say fallout NV is so broken it needs tons of mods to work yet its always worked fine for me without a single mod or extra file yet i literally couldnt get 3 running without downloading stuff and it crashes constantly

​@@ConnorNotyerbidness, yeah, I feel ya there, some thing is just wrong with how 3 probably loads things into RAM, like I can get to the title screen (without mods of any kind) but it crashes right there on WIN10 when I try to start a new game. I feel bad I wasted the money (tho I don't blame Steam), but I just never had time to go and look up how to get it running. There were other projects or work or kids (or more likely a combination of all) to really bother. Now that I have it on Xbox and can easily play on a large screen, I probably won't go back to it. There are other things as far as PC that I put my time into (mainly Minecraft, Satisfactory, and probably Subnautica: Subzero since PC is all it's on for now). But thank you for giving me the heads up. No doubt I like having a copy for Fallout 4 on both the PC and the Xbox, depending on my mood.​

@@grey1213a literally a pop up comes up first time you download it informing you of what to download. And its quite simply the fact that it was never updated for more current windows software. Bethesda couldnt be bothered. Takes 5 minutes to find the fix for it believe me

​@@ConnorNotyerbidness, thank you. Maybe I'll go look into it in the future, but for now I'll just play my Xbox version to get my fix. Tho I also have to figure out what I did to Fallout one from Steam too. I changed some setting and now that won't even get past the launcher. It's a graphics card issue, I know that much, but it's my least favorite Fallout to play, so it's even lower on the priority list. As long as Fallout 2 plays when I want it, I'm okay.

Ah, Anna Holt. I ran into her when escaping the Enclave. Upon discovering that she was working for the Enclave I remember thinking "You betrayed my father!!" and didn't hesitate to shoot her dead. It was the only time playing this game that I had such a reaction to a character in Fallout 3, and I have no regrets.
