Definitely the most disturbing scene in the trilogy. The juxtaposition between the peaceful and green Gladden Fields and the brutal, feral-esque murder of Deagol. The eerie shrieking music when he puts on the ring. And just how sudden these two go from friendly, amiable cousins to being at one another's throats. The Ring was truly corruptible.
