Needed to hear this today. I’ve been working on the emotional side of trading. In one moment I sell thinking I’m playing it safe to see the stock flying moments later (HOLO, INBS, RVSN) causing me to hold my next trade too long resulting in a couple major losses (SYRA, PIK, MINM) this year I’m still stuck in. It’s good to know I’m not alone. You’re an inspiration Ross.

Ross, Thank you for this analysis. I needed to hear this as it was therapeutic. I did and suffer from the same problem.I guess I react differently. I've been sitting frozen for two weeks after a $15k loss over three days. To hear you struggle with the same emotional problem after a loss is helpful to me to pull my head out and do analysis like you have here. Good episode ross and I think it’s very professional of you to exploit your weaknesses and talk to all of us about them. After losing a lot of money and screwing up your trading, that can not be easy. But as they say, good comes out of bad and by this happening to you, as bad as it is, does allow you the opportunity to explain this to us and help make sure, we don’t go through the same thing in technical terms, how to try and avoid it. So I hope you recuperate your losses soon, but before you try to do that ross I strongly recommend, you get rid of that flu first as it will only slow you down and mess up your recovery if you try to trade with it. I will "chase" but I am OUT the second I see a wick at the top. If it carries on up I am in again the moment it gets above the last wick (1 minute chart). I lose absolutely zero by getting out instantly. I am not afraid of leaving money on the table THAT WAS NOT MY MONEY IN THE FIRST PLACE. My trading totally changed the moment I started cutting loses properly THE VERY SECOND IT WENT DOWN. Think it through; the candle will go up or down. If it goes up I stay in and win those gains. The second it starts going down I am out, zero waiting, DO N OT WAIT FOR IT TO MAKE UP ITS MIND. Keep the loses small and let the winners run and you can't fecking lose. I repeat, the candle will either go up or it will go down. Very simple- no VWAP or any other indicator required. Ross is a genius. I would not be profitable without him. He changed my life.

Hi Ross I very much appreciate how genuinely you talk about these topics! I also struggle (probably as many people) with these emotional triggers. I even changed my dietary habits recently and lowered carbs and eliminated added sugar. This definitely helps my health ! :D noticed immediate weight loss, but also my psyche I seem to have more stable mind, even after losing days. But still it is a short period to derive any reasonable outcomes. 🙂Take care! You are a great trader ! 🍀

I am with you! I loss about $500, maybe a little more. I REFUSE to stop thinking that I know it all and apply what I am learning as a new trader. 1. Not watching the chart but the price or trend only! 2. Over-trading 3. Not setting a STOP LOSS 4. Gambling to get my money back! I refuse to give up on myself! I am about five weeks in. I do well most days but NOT following the chart or my strategies!!!!!!

Hello Ross, I am lucky to make 1K at RGLS and CLRO by using seeing your videos, as I am skeptical to trade in penny stock... somehow would like to thank to your strategy sharing, and exploring your trading strategy... Since you have mention the stop hunt, actually i realized this as well and I never use it anymore, having said that, I would like to also check if you ever seen there is a limit order avoidance too... Just my feel of it. like you have a limit order on your target profit, then the stock price will start moving away from the direction, then it will prolong to move to the intended direction until you have been pressured to sold your position, after that the stock price shoot up. may be i am thinking too much.........

I have the excact problem, the only trades I’ve lost on in the past month have been from fomo and getting in to late with big size. I lost 4 trades in one week making the same mistakes. The last 2 days have been good though and honestly I feel like sometimes those lessons are necessary the losers have really helped me learn, that in combination with your input!
