I hate that Nocturne can fear through everything. Alpha-strike? Fear. Zhonya? Fear. Any kind invulnerability/untargetability? Fear! And its range is bigger than flash when he can easily stick to you thank to his Q. I remember when I played Anivia and hoped to get at least some fighting chances by going into Zhonya with my ult active. Half a second later my ult stopped due to the fear. And he doesn't even have to aim it, it has point and click activation.

9:40 if you watch closely, you didn't randomly run back bc of fear. Nocturne got in front of you since he flashed and had his Q on you. His trail allows him to move through minions and Champs.

It's refreshing to see that when you know you are outmatched by champion select you don't go crazy, and just farm your CS. If more players focused on CS farm instead of early kills and misunderstanding when they are at an advantage and when they are not, the game would have a lot less aggravated players.

You might not be able to avoid the e from nocturne fear, but using q before his fear goes off actually does negate it as the actual fear cc is shorter than the duration of Yi Q in effect allowing you to avoid being feared altogether. I main YI and Noc and I enjoy playing as yi into nocturne quite a lot 😅😊

OTP YI here. 1.3 million. If u time well your Q when u getting feared Q can last as long as the fear and when u exit Alpha u won't be feared. But ok that takes practise.

After saw a ton of cowsep videos i realized that is useless mantain meditate at lv 1 for too long only for max Q first, meditate lv 2 or 3 makes you really tanky at early game, you could have avoided a couple deaths on early game i believe, great video bro Yi is my fav champ

If it is Jungle, you may need to go Bami 1st item into Botrk just to have better clear. But usually that means you need to get ahead.

Next time you play Yi, if you know ur going to get ganked a lot, try levelling up your W to Level 3. Will be much harder to kill you, and you will have more outplay potential. Of all the times you died, most of them you could've survived if only your W is a higher level. You could've outhealed their damage. You don't need. Keep Q at Level 3 then up your W, instead of going for Level 5 Q.

Also, your first item should always be Tier 2 boots so you can catch up or escape faster. Remember, Master Yi doesn't have any true disengage his kit. His Q is for for engaging, and dodging, but not disengage, (Qing to minions or monsters are situational disengage, not a true disengage, ex. Kayne dash and wall phasing, Shaco Invi, Kassadin Ult. etc.) As for Master Yi's Ult, its more of a chasedown or engage kit, because of kill extensions. If you just Ult to escape, it wont last long. In conclusion, levelling up W to Level 3 instead of just maxing Q (especially since you are running a 'tank' Yi), go for Tier 2 boots before or after first core item. And just to add, you could've 1v2 Nocturne and Olaf, instead of running away, lowering your health, then turning back. Its really hard to watch you running away from Nocturne, when Master Yi is one of the pure skirmisher champs.

And this is why whenever somone picked the 4th Hokage in Naruto MOBAs people would quit. Master Yi has the EXACT same kit as Minato in Naruto Wars. Only Yi has scaling damage on his flash strikes, instead of a +1 agi boost per minute move he gets meditate which IMO is actually better even in the W3 system, his ult is the Q of Minato only it gets extensions, instead of rasengan which did x2-x4-x6 melee damage for basically one or two attacks depending on how buffed the 4th's attack speed was Yi gets a FIVE SECOND true damage buff and did I mention his passive? Master Yi is a cracked 4th Hokage and people didn't like him back then when he was, somehow, far more balanced. How is this champion even legal to use? Clearly someone who played Naruto Wars and The Third Shinobi War works at Riot and said, "Hey remember that cracked hero that everyone hated? Let's crack him even more!". I eagerly await the base killer champion based on Naruto's kit. "Let's give a dude EIGHT clones that can fight things!".
