Iblis was proud and arrogant and considered himself superior to Adam, since Adam was made from clay and Iblis from smokeless fire. For this act of disobedience, Allah cursed him but gave him respite until the Day of Judgment, after Iblis requested it. Iblis obtained permission from Allah and vowed that he would use this time to lead all human men and women astray.

well, im not sure about that iblis,shaytan or jinns have met dajjal or know where he is, because i have not heard about that, but there was a cristian arab named Tamim Al Dari who embraced Islam, he told that when we went to an island there was a very hairy beast named jasasa who took them to ad dajjal and then dajjal asked them cuestions. Nobody knows what island dajjal is in. there is a time when Allah swt will release him from that island and he will live in this world for 40 (forty) days until Isa AS comes to kill him. This makes me wonder if Allah created the human test by first creating the test for iblis knowing that he would disobey and want to corrupt humanity therefore creating the test for humanity? I wonder if this is what Allah meant when he told the angels 'I know what you do not know, I cannot tell you' because then Iblis would have known the plan all along and that God knows he's gonna become a disbeliever and try to corrupt humanity which is the test for us, to refuse corruption and follow in the path of Allah or allow ourselves to be corrupted by Shaytan

10:23 dear brother remember that the no where in the Quran dose it say that our mother Hawa (ie eve) pressured Adam into eating the fruit, it says that both of them listened to Satan, and he was the one to misguided them, and that both of them did that sin, and both were accountable for it. And in surah -Ta Ha- (طه)(20:120) it says:"But Satan whispered unto him, saying: "O Adam! Shall I lead thee to the tree of life eternal; and [thus] to a kingdom that will never decay?" " and this verse indicates that this conversation happened between Adam and Satan. But we should understand that we shouldn't dwell on this detail, and we shouldn't be putting blame on either of them, but rather put it on iblis for misguiding them. And we should also remember that Allah made us to be on this earth to brgin with, so that we fullfil our purpose, and worship him alone. And paeadise is our reward only if we do that.

Pretty sure the Quran doesn't say hawwa was deceived and then convinced Adam to eat from the tree. It says it was both Adam and hawwa's fault and doesn't say who was decieved first if there was one who was decieved first in the first place.

I can't substantiate this by direct source but I know Ive read that Shaytan promised that he will conquer all of mankind, and also Eve offered Adam(alahi salam) a piece of fruit which he ate and found out after it came from the forbiden tree, hence why childbirth is so painful for a woman.

Roberto Kellz this is actually the Christian Narrative that you have mentioned. Muslims do not believe that Eve seduced her husband into eating the fruit - rather they both ate of the fruit together and then realising their mistake they asked God for forgiveness. They said to God that if He did not forgive them, that they would forever be at loss...... According to the Islamic narrative - in the Quran we are told that God then forgave them. So there is no Original sin in Islam , we believe that all humans are born into this world pure with No sin. It is only when we reach the age of puberty (if we are of sane mind and understanding) that we start to be held responsible for our actions and they are written in our books. We are all given free will as humans and it is up to us to make the choice of doing good or bad actions. Even when we sin - it is not the end... we can always go to God alone (do NOT make partners with God or use Intermediaries /idols / sons/ priests etc) and ask for forgiveness, we just need to be sincere and follow up the sin/s with good actions. On a side note, when a women has child bearing pains - it is something that is part of the birthing process and we are told that if we bear this with patience that there is Great reward in this. It is not considered a punishment for anything that Eve did in the past. God does not punish us based on the error or mistakes of others. We will all be held responsible for our own actions and not for those of others. May Allah swt have Mercy on us and guide us all to that which He is most pleased with.

I have a question......... so, when the Bible talks about "The Sons of God" could they possibly be these Jiinns? because it seems to me that there was a whole other living race here before Adam was created... and it makes sense that these creatures "The Jinns" could be them.... I've been watching some Islamic videos and in some other videos they did reference that these creatures were big in stature, and the Bible also makes reference to these "Sons of God" being pretty tall.... Who is Allah? Allah is whom the christians refer to as the "Father" except that He does not take a son, nor a mother because He has no equal from among the creation. He is seperate from His creation in His divine essence. The word translates to "the one and only God". ((Indeed I will place in earth a successor)) [2:30] Linguistic meaning of the word Successor (Khalifah) -- One who succeeds another. The four rightly guided caliphs were called khaleefahs because they succeeded the prophet S.A.W. in guiding the muslim nation and ruling over them. Linguistic meaning of the word Vicegerent ---- Exercising delegated power on behalf of a sovereign. Earthly representative of God. Linguistic meaning of the word Viceroy ---- A ruler exercising authority in a colony on behalf of a sovereign Linguistic meaning of the word Overlord ---- Someone who has general authority over others Contextual meanings of the word successor/vicegerent/viceroy/overlord (Khalifah) - - 1) Human generations succeeding one after another 2) Implementing the law of God on earth (e.g. Allah had made Prophet David a vicegerent in earth) 3) Exercising delegated power on behalf of Allah in earth The most common interpretations are 1 and 2. However, all three interpretations are correct. As for 3, that is the greatest and biggest interpretation of the quranic verse. Allah will place in earth His successor, one who will succeed Him in might, power and authority. Deputy of the heavens and the earth, Allah’s right hand, ambassador and vicegerent in earth. The successor will have the highest rank close to Allah in the universe, and will be the most preferred creation. The fact that the successor will be higher than the Throne in status proves that he qualifies for using Allah’s divine power, because the Throne represents Power, Authority and Majesty. Allah will hand over the rule to His successor and send him to earth to exercise power on His behalf, with His agenda, while maintaining sovereignty Himself. The successor will be representing his Lord on earth, he will be Allah's anger, vengeance and curse. The successor will not need anyone else's help as he will possess the divine power of Allah, his power will be enough to wipe out the entire universe in a blink. The successor will have to emerge at a time when repentance is no longer accepted, and when there will be no believer left on earth, after the sun rises from the west. Compared to miracles (small supernatural events that are shown by the prophets to get people to believe), the successor will be using Allah's divine power in earth, and everyone will know the truth at that point. Therefore, there will be no more need of a test for people. The fact that the successor will act on behalf of Allah indicates that the matter will be very serious. It is not befitting for Allah to descend to earth and walk among His creatures due to His Exaltedness, Majesty and Highness. That is why He will appoint His successor to do His bidding. Allah will not be absent, as He always has, is, and will continue to observe everything in the Universe, including His successor, and has the power to revoke given authority at any time should His successor disobey His commands. All of this indicates that Allah’s successor will bring the hour on the rest of creation in earth, complete destruction and annihilation of all living beings, and vengeance from His enemies (i.e. Satan and his allies). When the successor completes his objective, he will have to ascend to the heavens to return Allah’s divine power and rule back to Him, before the second blow in the trumpet (resurrection). At this point the fate of Allah’s successor is unknown, will he taste death or stand beside the Throne when Allah calls out, and (afterwards) descend alongside Allah to the land of gathering. No creation in the universe has ever worshipped Allah the way He deserves, not even the angels. In order to worship Him the way He deserves one must be exempt from His fear and use His divine power. To be exempt from His fear one must outmatch all of His favours and bounties which He has bestowed. To be able to use His divine power one must be higher than the Throne and Footstool in rank, and the Successor is the only creation that will be able to achieve this. Since worship elevates one in status, the successor will have the highest position among creation, above the Universe close to Allah, and will worship Him in front of Him. The successor will be at Allah’s side forever, witnessing everything He does, will be involved with His affairs with His creation (i.e. given tasks), and will enforce His commands on the rest of His creation. Most importantly, the successor will know all of Allah’s names and attributes and their nature, as well as the secrets of the universe. The successor will be the most preferred, jealous and powerful creation. He will have no equal from among the creation. The only human being that is higher than all the prophets and messengers in status. The messengers and prophets were merely humans who's job were to warn and give glad tidings to the people, and feared Allah. The successor will not even fear Allah, and thus will be the most feared creation in the Universe. So will the successor be a temporary god? The answer is no, because there is no object/entity worthy of being worshipped except Allah. Even if the successor assumes control over the heavens and the earth, that does not qualify him for worship. That status is solely for Allah. So how will the successor succeed Allah? Be careful, Allah does not have a successor when it comes to his Godship (Al Uluhiyyah), because there is no other god worthy of being worshipped. Had Allah taken a son (which is impossible), that son would have succeeded in worship. Rather, the successor will succeed the Almighty in His Lordship (Al Ruboobiyyah). So in essence, the successor will be a temporary Lord, and not a temporary god. Furthermore, Allah cannot have an inheritor, because the one who is inherited from has to cease to exist. Allah's existence will never end. Can the successor overthrow the King? Not a chance because firstly, Allah's knowledge encompasses everything and secondly, the universe would cease to exist without His presence. The successor will be the only creation that will be exempt from the Prophet's intercession on the last day, because he will be higher than the Prophet in status and his abode will be above the Universe close to Allah, next to the throne. The Successor will have access to all of Allah's power, kingdom, knowledge and wealth, because he will be higher than the Throne in status while the rest of creation lies below it. Also, the successor will be the only creation that will have the right to be arrogant as a slave, because he will be able to worship Allah the way He deserves. Satan was casted out of Allah's mercy for being arrogant because the reason for his arrogance was unacceptable. When Allah created the first human Adam with His own two hands, and preferred humanity over the angels and djinn, satan (Iblis) became jealous and refused to bow down, and challenged Allah's decision. Thus the accursed satan has indirect enmity with Allah, and has been given respite until an appointed time. The successor is satan's nemises and will be coming to kill him and his army when the time arrives. (فإنّك من المنظرين. إلى يوم الوقت المعلوم) [Al Hijr: 38] Indeed you (satan) are from among those who are given respite. Until an appointed time. As for the knowledge of how to outmatch Allah's bounties and favours, I cannot share that with anyone. Allah has already reserved this high rank for someone. The Successor's slogan will be the following: "الإسلام لباسي والتوحيد سلاحي، أصيب به من أشاء بإذن وبرحمة ربي" "Islam is my clothing and monotheism is my weapon, I shall strike with it whoever I will with the permission and mercy of my Lord"
