We can see Marselino actually get rid of his Ego play in the match of Saudi, when he got harsh criticize by netizen it was due to his ego for not willing to pass the ball and try to be a wannabe ronaldo. I belive he learn this mistake and perhaps in oxford he learn something aswell. Againts Saudi we can see Marselino playing well with the team, passing and not trying to pass players on his own, which happen to Asnawi now againts China. Fly high Marselino, always remember that football is a team sport not an individual sport, even messi and ronaldo cannot win alone.

In my opinion, that U-21 Oxford Coach was the most impactful man in Marselino's Career in 2024. He put Marselino in training for 2 Months after his arrival, found his best and most comfort role in the team, and he put Marselino in the Number 10 during his debut that resulted in 2 Assists and a solid win. Yeah some people will say "It's just U-21 matches", but the impact that this U-21 made towards Marselino's gamestyle changed. He scanned the Field more, unselfishly doing his trickery that he used to do, and more clinical both against Japan and Saudi I don't know how Des Buckingham said "Yeah I watched Marselino's gameplay against Arab Saudi, his game is solid and showed his qualities. His debut will be soon." While his team is at 16th place without impactful or offensive threat.

Yeah, game time is important, especially when in reality the U21 of the English Championship is at the level of a lot of Asian Leagues. Of course in Oxford, he should adapt with the game, culture, and the club's roadmap. However, Des Buckingham is at the hot seat because Oxford didn't even have an offensive threat. The situation is different with Nathan since Swansea still performs without him playing, that's why they think that Nathan is not that good enough for them. Oxford needs to try to escape this stampede of losses. This team is just One Rank shy to Relegation (3 points gap with Hull City, same points with Converty, Luton, and Preston) and they have all Left Wingers Injured.
