Imam Hussain's (as) struggle for justice knows no background or time. It is a universal message that the whole world should know. He sacrificed everything he had done to save the poor, oppressed, the sick and the tragedy of Karbala and Ashura is a good example of never allowing tyrants to oppress a person and society and always fight for truth and dignity. His killing in the battle has nothing to do with the Islamic faith. A sect calls itself Shias exaggerated this incident and twisted the historical events to create a new religion based on it. But Islam has nothing to do with this incident.

Imam Hussain was a courageous warrior. In the face of certain death and defeat he made sure to send as much of Yazids (la) army to hell as possible. The prophet and his family, are a mercy from Allah SWT and a lesson to the ummah that no matter what challenges you face in life you must fight, you must fight til the last breathe. They never talk about what happened to house of the prophet SWS after Omar took the khelafa from Ali. The prophet has actually left a Testemony for his khilafa. There's a BEAUTIFUL narration I heard recently in urdu and it goes like this in english Hazrat Ibrahim (KA) sacrificed his son with his eyes bondaged, for Allah. Imam Hussain (RA) saw his family members sacrificed (or martyred) for Allah.
