I got so frustrated after months of this game when I was 10 that I pulled it out of my Gameboy and smashing it with a hammer. I instantly regretted it because it was a very fun game. It still worked afterwords thankfully.

@@DrySushi True, there's was gameboy in some country, it got bombed. And when soldiers were looking for survivors or something, they saw the beat up gameboy, flipped it over.... And the side that faced the ground was completely fine and it still worked. (its now on display in some nintendo theme park)

IIRC the manual for Kirby's Pinball Land had the greatest quote of any game ever: "It is every Kirby's dream to play soccer with a squid." And yep, this game is a) really hard and b) never stops being fun. It's made many a long plane and train trip bearable for me. Kirby's Dream Course / Tee Shot on the SNES (the mini-golf game) is similar: a tough-but-fun ball game with the Kirby face plastered on top of it. I like both much more than I like the actual Kirby platform games.

I played countless hours on this game too! I love it but manage to beat it. It's not an easy game to beat indeed. It goes down to be good at rescuing Kirby when he falls (as it becomes more and more difficult).

I know the views aren't as high on this one, but I thoroughly enjoyed the video. I'm also a huge pinball fan, so I may be biased. My favorites are Pokemon Pinball (GBA) & Devil's Crush (PC Engine/TG-16). Kirby's Pinball Land is pretty challenging. I don't think I ever completed it either.

I seem to recall Revenge of the Gator making more of a splash on release than kirby's pinball land, perhaps because the Game Boy was earlier in its life so we took every gamr we could get

Sonic Spinball is the only pinball game I managed to beat. The last level is tricky as hell but it's totally fair and beatable, I was surprised to find the game is considered tough as nails. For me it's the Mean Bean Machine that was completely untouchable and I think I never got farther than the third challenger.

Never thought Kirby's Pinball Land was really that hard. I mean compared to Dreamland, sure but overall it's not that hard to beat. Fun fact in Coronation Street whenever you see someone playing a video game the background music is almost always from Kiby's Pinball Land .

Lol wow, yeah it’s super hard. I’m playing it for the first time and the idea of beating all 3 levels before dedede just seems crazy. I havent been able to even clear 2 of them at the same time. I thought I was being soft for thinking it was so tough, but there’s no denying it just doesn’t give you a lot of chances. Btw, Kirby’s Pinball doesn’t just pull from Dreamland... the sun and moon (mr.bright and mr.shine) aren’t from Dreamland, they’re from Kirby’s Adventure on the NES.
