I really needed to hear this. Thank you Jesus for setting me right. Thank you John for speaking on this. Thank you Kelly K Ministries for mentioning John so I could hear this message. I have a ton to think about in my actions towards my wife without realizing. While I'm better than I was, I still have a long way to go. But, I'm blessed that Jesus died for my sins and set the example of how to live. I have so much growing still to do. But, thank you Jesus for opening my eyes that I still have work to do. In Jesus Almighty name, Amen, Amen, Amen

WOW,,, you just took tge words out if my mouth - you can just look at a woman and tell whether she is loved and cared for. She radiates beauty, confidence, peace. She feels safe. You can just spot her.

John, your message was delivered five years ago, but the truth is still as vital today. In your description of marriage you describe what I have longed for. I thought I had met someone whom I loved like that, but it wasn't mutual. So I find myself wondering what comes next. You may never read my message, but I sensed the need to express my heart.

The image of the circle with the X's speaks to me. My wife and I have been having a tiff over which church to attend for 10 months (the one we've been going to has terrible doctrine that's non-Biblical) so I decided to move with the kids to another church and I remember God telling me that, even when I'm right, my body is not complete at this new church. I'm trusting Him to reconcile us, and it's a real fight of faith, because my wife has decided to do her own thing and completely oppose everything I say. But my trust is in the Lord.

I have mistreated my wife by cheating. We are in the middle of a bad divorce. I wish I could take it all back. I want to spend eternity with her . she doesn't feel the same. She is a awesome mother and woman. Please pray for us no matter the outcome. I want to be a leader for my family no matter where we are

Good luck. These are going to be hard words to hear. I prayed 3 long years. Knowing how powerful God is and what he is capable of... Trust me when l say l had full faith on how God will heal my marriage. I prayed for my husband and was willing to forgive him. I was tormented why wasn't God answering my prayer. One very smart Christian friend said remember God gave us free will. He cannot make your husband do anything he doesn't want to do.

I was ill-treated by my husband in a very bad way. . . until I couldn't take it anymore and left! Don't get met wrong I did seek help during our marriage but couldn't find it at all...I prayed everyday and seeking the Lord but things went very bad. After I left he never tried even once to get me back or to reconcile. Instead he went on and divorce me and soon after that he found someone new and got married Now I am alone and praying to GOD for someone of HIS choice and not mine!

I'm so sorry! Sometimes our choices have consequences. And divorce is so destructive to our families (children especially), I know this only too well! But praise GOD, I am in the process of going to Hope Restored by Focus on the Family to help my marriage because sometimes we need community to succeed. It gives couples in crisis real help. It wasn't available back in 1992 during my first marriage. I pray that your wife is open to give it one more try! You've both invested so much! But please remember, nothing is impossible with GOD! So keep praying! Blessings!

Pastor I forgive him and waited for 7 years in prayers and fasting but he did not change nor stop cheating on me with countless girls and women, I was drained emotionally, financially, physically and verbally. God forgive me for divorcing him

Oh sweetheart! Unfortunately, you can be a great wife, but you can't make your husband invest his time and talent into his family! You are not responsible for his behavior! Too often the church places to much responsibility on the faithful spouse as if you can make a marriage work by yourself! But please know that although GOD hates divorce, HE doesn't hate you! And HE still has plans for you and your family! Please be sure to surround yourself and your children with community so the healing can continue! Love and prayers, my sister in CHRIST! 💞👑💞

The only reason God is okay with divorce is when a spouse will not stop cheating on the other.

Do you go to a faith filled spirit filled church? If not, I suggest you do and get help. I left an emotional/ mental abusive marriage. But God didn't condemn me for it. I pray you seek God as to what to do. ❤

I just went through a divorce because of abuse both to me and our children. I have since become a Christian, the message does not make sense, I don't feel like a I should go back and try again with this man. I actually feel free for the first time in my life. I'm praying for my daughter because she actually hates her dad because of the sexual abuse he did to her and the other physical abuse. I'm praying she comes to the Lord and eventually forgives him. So my question is, how should this type of message relate to me now that I'm a Christian? Am I supposed to go back to this abusive man? Or should I move forward with my new life in Jesus?
@leticiaazani2 жыл бұрын
No I don’t believe you are supposed to go back to your abusive husband. This message is for marriages without abuse and cheating.
