I really enjoyed this episode. I grew up in Monsey also. I actually went to Ashar with some of the older Shapiro boys. I love Mordechai Shapiro's music. It is so inspiring. He always looks like he's really connecting with Hashem in his videos and he is always smiling and always happy. Tamid b'simcha. I have a few favorite songs, but Machar really got me through covid - and every hardship, but so far, mostly covid. I was also home with my kids, and talk about not being with your family, my husband works in food service and was working insane hours during covid b/c people still have to eat. So I was alone with my kids and it was incredibly hard. I may have had a few meltdowns after my kids went to bed. Machar really got me through it. "Tomorrow" is a new day, the sun will shine, we won't need to cry anymore, the pain will be gone, we just have to believe that tomorrow will come. It really helped me. Thank you Mordechai. And thank you guys for having this episode.

Amazing interview!! Thank you! Very authentic and real. Just what is needed for us today. Mordechai Shapiro's music and beat, and positivity and heartfelt soul connection to Hashem is so important, not just for the youth of today but for us adults. It truly does connect us to Hashem on a deep level. I feel sorry for those who don't understand it or don't see that our generation needs this. I'm grateful that Mordechai Shapiro is using his talent to serve Hashem and ignore the naysayers. Thank you again!

I stumbled, on Mordechai’s videos 6 months ago during a low time, in my life. His uplifting music helped me through my challenges. I’ve wondered if he was truly as happy as he seems, in his videos. Last night I stumbled, on your podcast with his interview and I can say yes he is. What an inspirational singer and human being. Now I’ve subscribed, to your channel.

I worked in a yeshiva , and we always put on music during lunch one of the first weeks of school we put on a Mordechai Shapiro cd and one boy started closing his ears and told me we have to shut it off because his mother didn't let him listen to Mordechai Shapiro.. we thought he was joking and then I called his mother that night and she was like yes Mordechai Shapiro isn't jewish music... I was shocked!!!
@jacobfiskus50522 жыл бұрын
Wow…it’s fascinating to me, because who even invented the standard of Jewish music? I know that mother had the best and holiest of intentions, but the Eibishter created so many genres of music and instruments and sounds, why confine ourselves to one style? To be confined to a box is the very antithesis of Gdliness and what being a yid is about!

This was very nice to listen to. It gives a window into seeing who Mordechai Shapiro, the Jew, is as opposed to Mordechai Shapiro, the Pop Star. One thing that surprised me though, was his discussion about drinking less on Shabbos. Forgive me for my ignorance, but has drinking alcohol at the table (set aside Kos shel Bracha) become a thing now a days?

Hello, May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED." God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin.Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, & abominable, & murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?
