When I was 23 years old, I entered the darkest time in my life. I had no idea it would happen, but I found myself completely hooked on opiate pain killers to soothe the grief of losing my mother. I had no business taking them, I wasn't prescribed them, yet they still found their way into my life and completely took my entire life over. After spending 10's of thousands of dollars a year on them, battling through countless periods of withdrawal, relapses,, and a horrific addiction AND dependence on opioids -- I finally found Kratom through my longtime friends John & Bella. With the usage of the stuff I got from their website www.completekratom.com I was able to slowly, over several months, wean myself down to complete independence from opiates. Aside from using Kratom (which acts like a mild opiate agonist, but is a natural plant), I found that creating a positive structure in my life was ESSENTIAL to staying off of painkillers. Consistent exercise, martial arts, weight lifting, and positive relationships rebuilt my life from scratch, and I've been opiate free for nearly 8 years. This was by no means an easy process, however without the loving support of my friends, family, John, Bella, and my entire group of fitness friends, I simply would not be here today.
If you need help, seek it immediately. Free yourself from this nasty epidemic and experience life how you deserve to.

I just realized the other day that I haven’t touched a narcotic in 8 years. There’s an amazing power in using natural plants, exercise, emotions, and experiences to replace an addiction to drugs. Love. Martial arts. My career. My wife and kids. All of these things replaced it and I haven’t looked back. I’m in the best place I’ve ever been in and I don’t take that for granted. If you’re battling this epidemic, there’s definitely a way out. Stay strong and take action.

Mac Lethal I can relate to this. My father passed away when I was 23. Today I’m 36 and are fighting drug addiction. Oxies and benzos. I sat nodding at our family christmas dinners. I’m going to rehab for the first time after christmas. It’s now or never! Is kratom a good idea? /Fan from Sweden. Add me on Facebook (Patrick Nordsvahn) if you need to talk about shit like this

GreatestVlogger; I'm guessing that they appreciate people like Mac because Mac speaks honestly about a pretty embarrassing subject and tells his story of recovery. Lots of people need to find someone to relate to just so they can validate their thoughts and believe that there's a path forward. Or maybe it's just appreciation for the entertainment mac provides. Something to bring people away from their own mind a bit now and then? I'm only guessing because you never got an answer so I figured I'd at least try to help.

My son isn't addicted to pills but he is a alcoholic. Has been for ten years and he is only 30, he recently in February got out of a detox/ rehab center but has relapsed since. He also is a writer/rapper to be/ graffiti artist. He is extremely talented in so many ways but the alcohol is controlling his life again. It's heart breaking 💔 and sad to see, he has so much potential but does not realize it. He has lost alot of people in his life which I think haunts him, I hope one day he can see the light and shine like I know that he can.

Here are the lyrics: When I was 23, my mother passed away. I didn't know that I'd experience my blackest days. I couldn't feel a thing, I was broken. I needed something more than just drinking and smoking. A friend of mine said, “I heard you got some problems. Well, I can help you fix 'em, buddy try some OxyContin: It makes you warm like butter on a biscuit, it's just like Heroin, but it's not addictive.” I took one and felt amazing and warm, I felt like a little baby reborn, I felt like I was laying in a cradle in a blanket as a hundred thousands angels got on stage to perform, softly playing the horns. I didn't know that I was entering a dangerous storm. Or I guess I didn't care, cause I ain't even look. I tried these stupid pills one time and I was hooked. I started taking pills every single day. If I felt anxiety or pressure, it's okay. I would take a pill, then grind it up and snort it in my nose. I was so damn high I didn't feel the torture in my soul. People started saying, “Mac, I think you're just a bit unstable.” Thanksgiving dinner, nodding out up at the kitchen table. Every single fuckin bit of cash up in my savings went so I could satisfy my cravings. I wrecked a car, then I wrecked another car. I didn't care, I was high out on fuckin Mars. I used to be a sweet kid on the monkey bars, now I'm just a junkie hoping I don't get drunk and barf. In my sleep, I was stuck out in the rain. I guess I finally figured out that something had to change. You gotta understand, if I couldn't find pills, I'd be on the bathroom floor nauseous and ill. I started doing research. I couldn't afford rehab, I couldn't make those fees work. Plus I didn't want to treat it like a second home. I didn't want to take subs, fuck Methadone! My fans knew that I was high, they could tell ya. I got an e-mail from a girl named Bella, who told me about her husband, a guy named John who ran a website: completekratom.com In a company at perfect peace She said, “We sell this stuff called Kratom. Get online and research it please,” so I did. I read about Kratom, a lot of addicts online said that it saved them. So I ordered Kratom from John's website, and it showed up on my front porch the next night. And then I drank some mixed with OJ, It made all my withdraw symptoms go away. And for the first time I didn't need a pill. Every second of this story that I'm telling you is real. I was no longer a slave locked in a dungeon, I no longer needed OxyContin to function. I started working out, I started lifting weights. I started doing Jujitsu, I started feeling great. Eventually I even met my wife. I swear that I'm reborn, I've been living a second life. But the addict in me never died. Man the addict in you will never die. Just accept it. Just embrace it. Take the bad shit in your life and replace it. Find things that you love, get addicted to em. Stay away from the drugs, 'cause that shit'll ruin your life. You're always gonna be an addict, you see? You gotta get high naturally. Good luck! I listened to this song once when I was near black out drunk and I didn't think I was an addict because "it was just booze". Now I'm nearly two years clean and founded and chair my own N.A. weekly meeting. This song is so true. My addiction controlled my life and now I'm taking the steps to take it back and make myself a better person. I hope that this song brings comfort and strength to all of my addict brothers and sisters who are still suffering. Well done Mac, it takes a lot of strength to tell our addiction stories. I'm so happy that you continue to write and live your life's story clean. Also props to Seven for producing this sick beat.

"Just booze" very ridiculous thing to think....you didn't realize that alcohol withdrawal could literally cause seizures and death? I was hooked on opiates and alcohol, I never once though "well its just pills and alcohol!" I'd be ignorant to think that.

As someone who has struggled with the same issue for a similar reason over fifteen years I really appreciate this being posted. Kratom really saved my life those first few weeks and exercise is the key. I'm going on over three months clean now and learning to accept my mistakes - it's a lifelong battle but one that can be done, especially with help from others. I'll definitely be sharing this with my friends in recovery. Thanks, Mac. Stay strong, keep going brother. Respect and love from Philly.

I used to be an addict, I actually quit cold Turkey the day I decided to be a dad. I got in a car accident a couple years later, and because of my previous addiction to them, I refused the pain killers they tried to prescribe me. One day someone told me about kratom, and I've used it ever since. I'm glad you were able to find it before it was too late, losing you would've been a detriment to the world. Its crazy for me to see a positive story about kratom, because I went through kratom addiction for 3 years. Relapsed on it 3 times, went through unimaginable withdrawals, but yet kept getting back on it. I prayed to God to get me clean off of it because it wasn’t in my control and either my prayers worked or I found the inner strength to kick it on my own but regardless the negative impact it had on my academic, social, health, and relationship life is unexplainable and irreparable but I learned, healed, and grew and carry the warning of what that this seemingly “harmless” plant can do, but I absolutely advocate its use for getting off opiates because I know it works. Mac, respect for your story, just sharing the other side of its potential.

fisty baby coming from another former addict, yes, picking up the habit in the first place is one of the most idiotic things you can do in life. That said, if you can manage to get your fuckin shit together enough to not only sober up, but STAY sober, it’s one of the hardest things a person can possibly do. It takes physical, mental & emotional strength that no one who hasn’t gone through it can really even fathom. Addiction to opiates isn’t a hell I’d wish on my worst enemy. For the vast majority who fall into it, there’s no coming back. It’s not to say folks who never get addicted to some type of narcotic don’t know what struggle is, but short of having one of my children pass away, I can’t think of a single thing that could happen in life that would be more torturous.

All my "friends" did them,I almost gave in because of the pressure they put on me,but thank god,I was strong,a few years later,I learn that my best friend, who didn't do drugs,in fact,he was as far away from doing drugs as they come, one day as I was chilling in my room fan on sun out tv on,it was perfect. Then I got that call that damned call. It was my friends mom,she called and said the words that haunted me for my short 29 year old life. "Hello,is this Son Goku" me:"Yes who is this" "oh I'm toms (not his real name) mom,I'm calling you to tell you that tom had committed suicide" I was horrified, and so depressed.Soo after,I became addicted too drugs and alcohol, untill one day 3 years later after getting a pack of cigarettes and a bottle of whiskey,I was off too one of my friends house,he was ganna hit me up with some mary jane and meth, then I realized that my friends watching me from heaven was probably disappointed by my decision,I told myself that if he was there he would be so disappointed at me,so I threw out the cigarettes and the whiskey and gave up on drugs,it wasn't easy but I'm happy now that I'm addicted to drawing anime at bandie and well,I loved drawing goku and vegeta.

This hit home and made me think about how happy I am that she is sober now. 28 weeks sober and I am so happy that she had the strength to get through her addiction. She was hooked for years and I grew up with it. Constantly seeing her like a zombie. Falling asleep everywhere and never sleeping at night. She was rarely home and no one ever talked to her because she was caged away. Everyone knew about her problem and the family fell apart because of it. Tomorrow is our first Thanksgiving together as a whole family. It's incredible to see my mother as how she used to be whenever I was a child. I'm 21 now and about to graduate college. Thanks for the feels trip, man and for allowing me to see it from the side of someone who used to use.

Oh boy. This is gonna take some time, but I'll write them out for you. :) I'm not a native speaker either(Finnish), so I missed a couple of words too. When I was 23 my mother passed away I didn't know that I'd experience my blackest days I couldn't feel a thing, I was broken I needed something more than just drinking and smoking A friend of mine said "I heard you got some problems Well, I can help you fix 'em, buddy try some OxyContin It makes you warm like butter on a biscuit It's just like Heroin, but it's not addictive" I took one and felt amazing and warm I felt like a little baby reborn I felt like I was laying in a cradle in a blanket As a hundred thousands angels got on stage to perform Softly playing the horns I didn't know that I was entering a dangerous storm Or I guess I didn't care, 'cause I ain't even look I tried these stupid pills one time and I was hooked I started taking pills every single day If I felt anxiety or pressure, it's OK I would take a pill, then grind it up and snort it in my nose I was so damn high, I didn't feel the torture in my soul People started saying "Mac, I think you're just a bit unstable" Thanksgiving dinner, nodding out up at the kitchen table Every single fucking bit of cash up in my savings Went, so I could satisfy my cravings I wrecked a car, then I wrecked another car I didn't care, I was high out on fucking Mars I used to be a sweet kid on the monkey bars Now I'm just a junkie, hoping I don't get drunk and barf In my sleep, I was stuck out in the rain I guess I finally figured out that something had to change You gotta understand, if I couldn't find pills I'd be on the bathroom floor nauseous and ill I started doing research I couldn't afford rehab, I couldn't make those fees work Plus I didn't want to treat it like a second home I didn't want to take subs, fuck Methadone My fans knew that I was high, they could tell ya I got an e-mail from a girl named Bella Who told me about her husband, a guy named John Who ran a website Complete Kratom dot com In a company at perfect peace(?) She said "We sell this stuff called Kratom Get online and research it, please", so I did I read about Kratom, a lot of addicts online said that it saved them So I ordered Kratom from John's website And it showed up on my front porch the next night And then I drank some mixed with OJ It made all my withdraw symptoms go away And for the first time I didn't need a pill Every second of this story that I'm telling you is real I was no longer a slave locked in a dungeon I no longer needed OxyContin to function I started working out, I started lifting weights I started doing Jujitsu, I started feeling great Eventually I even met my wife I swear that I'm reborn, I've been living a second life But the addict in me never died Man, the addict in you will never die Just accept it, just embrace it Take the bad shit in your life and replace it Find things that you love, get addicted to 'em Stay away from the drugs, 'cause that shit'll ruin Your life, you're always gonna be an addict You see? You gotta get high naturally Good luck

You just spit bars that encapsulated my life for 4 years. To sad precision, unfortunately. You're amazing. I followed a different, yet equally successful, path to the Light. Yet, I'm going to research the Kratom. I'm super intrigued now. Bro, you're affecting so many lives in such a positive and enlightening way. Continue to do so...

I will be 8 years sober in August. I overdosed at 14, I'll be 22 this year. I still remember seeing myself in a mirror at the hospital, looking like the life had left me... It's a hard thing to overcome. I would be lying if I said it wasn't on purpose. A lot of people don't realize that when it comes to addiction, there's normally something tragic or traumatizing that happened before the addiction. This was such a beautiful song. I'm sorry about your mom, and I'm glad you were able to overcome addiction. She's proud of you, just like the rest of us are.
