Gililov is nothing but an arrogant teacher who made his money in Cologne. He's not good enough being a jury member at the international Tschaikoskwy competition. A guy who claims that music is just maths/physics should not being given influence to real artists!

He's a prize winner of the most prestigious piano competition in the world, an amazing musician and a great teacher.

I agree he is very arrogant. He has always selected talented assistants, who basically did all the job for him. Because his own lessons are mediocre.

@@Serge-s7k Pretty easy to hire some educated assistants. I went to music conservatory during the later 1980th and very often "he was abroad"... This dude seems to suffer from an intellectual lack claiming that "music is just maths". I guess he's not a master in scientific issues. And why didn't I hear that dude in Carnegie Hall? Being a piano teacher at the conservatory means being able to make a living out of that. I'm not sure if it would work as a soloist in his case...I don't care. May he become a lucky dude.

@@w3sp So what? He didn't win the International Tschaikowsky Competition. And he's not as famous as Richter, Gilles, Ashkenazy or Horowitz!
