For me that's still better than Heisenberg doing it because he's a sociopath, or Donna using up her playmates, or who knows what happens in Castle Dimitrescu, to me all of them are bad what they do is inexcusable but to me Moreau had the least evil reasoning and he also failed the most making it all pointless and more tragic that nothing ever goes his way, the best thing to happen to him was dying which sucks

If a child thinks that if they don't do something they lose there parents love they will probably do it. It's less of 'I'm doing this to impress you' and more like 'I'm doing this or you'll never love me' Moreau did bad things yes but doing bad things doesn't make you inherently bad. Regardless to be a bad person shouldn't devalue the situation you were forced into. You can have sympathy for bad people. And given his situation specifically I don't think he was inherently bad. He was misguided and suffering. The only good thing to him in his mind was his mother and her wishes. So in his mind he was desperately trying to do good by his mother's standards. Not understanding that his mother never loved him in the first place and no matter how hard he tried it was never gonna be enough. So do I feel bad for Moreau? Yes. But even so there was no situation he could have been in where he wasn't suffering so he had to be let go.

I feel like with Moreau and Donna it's kinda less bad since the Cadou altered them in some bad ways since both of them have gotten mental problems from the Cadou but i feel like Moreau had it the worst since his body also got massively altered.

Somehow i feel it more a representation of his own emotions. He was undoubtedly happy when mother miranda came to him offering test subjects for experiments. He found it a bright and sunny day that he could be of some use to mother. But when he ultimately failed, he felt that he disappointed miranda. And at that point a somewhat gloominess befell him signifying a dark, cloudy day.

Moreau can't catch a break, Donna calls him Ugly and pushes him away when he just wants to see Ethan at the meeting, heisenberg basically uses him to stall Ethan when he tells him that they are all needed for the ceremony even though Miranda could careless as all she ever needed was the Flasks, and Ethan makes him look like a joke everytime he sees him, if Lady D didn't already look down on Men she'd probably be belittling Moreau everytime she saw him

In the story, the iron steed got mad at the little girl for taking his wheel. In the game, your able to make a cogwheel with a horse on it.

@@fawnieee No I think everyone understood that part, many just overlook it myself included because even in those same notes he's doing it for Miranda and her love, not because he likes seeing people suffer or to satiate some carnal desire to torment and abuse people like Lady D, Moreau at the end of the day feels like he needs to produce results or he is useless, heisenberg is building army but still treats his subjects as tools to be used, Donna has a twisted form of fun and Lady D hates humans anything those 3 do is for their own benefit and not even to get a better standing just fun or work, Moreau already feels inferior to the others, is the worst of the 3 by far in terms of compatibility with the cadou and constantly berated and treated like garbage by the others so much so that he thought he wasn't gonna be a piece of Rose even though he is one of the 4 lords, Moreau is just tragic no matter what angle you look at him from

Moreau has always confused me. He's possibly the least intelligent of the lords, and yet he's the one who did most of the cadou experiments and made the lycans. Meaning that admistering the cadou is easy or, maybe moreau isn't as dumb as the other lords think he is.

But the story goes; Miranda gave Moreau some cadou to experiment with and eventually he got the idea to inject wolf blood into the cadou and then put them in humans, this created the lycans. And the diary in moreau's lab shows that it was all his idea. But yes, anyone could make lycans, it's just that Moreau had the idea first.

Moreau is truely the worse off after gaining Mother Miranda's gift, yet he was also the most innocent of them all, it's not mentioned often by people but having the cadou in him basically reverted his mind back to an childlike state explaining his want for his mothers love and approval, even reading his diary and reports he never wants to experiment on humans for the sake of it only in a bid to better his standing with the other lords and Miranda herself, all he wants is praise and acceptance but is constantly berated and abused by the others, if you think about it Heisenberg used him by giving him the flask and telling him to keep it safe rather than hiding it himself but he wanted Ethan to kill off the other lords and work together with him to take down Miranda I think Donna is a great way to show mental illness in this game and social anxiety but Moreau represents a part of all of us we don't like to show, our insecurities and doubts, even he looks down on himself when he said he thought he'd be left out because the others can't stand to be around him, Heisenberg calls him a moronic freak even though he knows all of them were unwilling test subjects and hates Miranda for it hell even Ethan insults him more than any of the other lords, everyone is bullying this poor guy yet through it all he just wants to be useful and loved by Miranda and his siblings, the 4 Lords are the only family any of them have left other than Lady D and her daughters so I guess I can also pity him for that too since these games seem to want to make the reasons these characters do anything understandable, Miranda and her daughter, Moreau and Miranda, Heisenberg and Pride, Donna and wanting Friends and of course Ethan and his Rose

This entire game is like a homage to The island of Dr Moreau, with Miranda taking the doctor's handle (it's a Victorian book and she's born Victorian era) as the remote, splicy scientist with a load of experiments seeing her as the parent and Ethan taking the lost Edward's place, we even have Moreau being the only *more creature than human* lord, which was the major problem in the book.
