So yes.... kinda predictable since my top 10 ships challenge #1 was stydia, but I don't mind bc I love them so much. What you wouldn't expect however was that on the poll, 2 couples got the exact same votes. Hahahahha..... so I pretty much made two videos for 500 subs which makes it extra special... right? Three points to use while arguing with people who hate on stydia: 1) "they are just friends"- true friends don't touch each other every time they are emotionally looking for support. take stiles suffering from a panic attack, lydia's first instinct is not to hold his hand or his shoulder and shout "hold your breath" but to take his face in her hands and kiss him. And as far as we all saw that wasn't anything like CPR with Gabrielle Aplin playing in the background, so quit thinking it was an action specifically devised for his benefit in seconds rather than simply her impulse to kiss him. Another example is Stiles shielding Lydia with one hand while hiding from the Dread doctors even though it had no technical purpose other than for the sake of comfort. Lydia, holding on to Stiles with both hands after he freed her from the metal trap and the camera lingering on them for a second too long. 2) "they are just too different"- behind Lydia's flawless makeup and Stiles's zero interest in his appearance, they are both geniuses, devious and challenging to all kinds of circumstances. Lydia is a walking encyclopedia, Stiles is an explorer and schemer. There is nobody else who can compare to their level of deadly intelligence except for villains like Peter, which is a good thing because they are the only masterminds on the right side. Insert term sapiosexuality. They both have faced trauma and pain but are also unrelentingly brave and eager to participate in things that could have terrible outcomes. Stiles, anxious to figure out the murders in town even if they aren't involved. Lydia, wanting to learn to fight. 3) "Lydia doesn't deserve Stiles"- In season 1 & 2, Stiles obsessed over Lydia to a point where anything from her side could be lack of attention compared to what he gave her. She ignored his indirect advances as any of us would have if we weren't attracted to the person who has a see-through crush on us. He never put any effort to ask her out. She cared for him in a different way than he did even in season 3. This can explained because of her equations with Jackson and Aiden. Relationships are fluid. Just because someone has been in love with another for a longer while doesn't mean he deserves her love more than she does. #stilessavedme Notice how I say nothing about Stalia, Marrish, even Sterek, all of which I have a dozen reasons not to support as endgame. That is because ships are personal opinions and no ship is better than the other and as much as I want to say how Stydia is the best I won't, because that's a thought process I can't force everyone to agree with. I won't hate on your ship and you won't on mine. We can only say good things about how far our characters have come and how far we believe they will go.

Stiles and Lydia is the main love story in teen wolf, that's why Jeff is taking his time to get them together. They have been through so much but they are always there for each other! One of the best love stories in a television show for sure

Then a couple of months go by and both Stiles and Malia end up at the Eichen House, they talk to each other once and the next day apparently they are in love!! I actually really like how they didn't get together right away, because it shows the development of their characters and relationship really well. Stiles has a new way of looking at her now, but not in a way of it being a fourth grade crush, but in a way where he knows that as long their living they will be their for each other no matter what happens. Watching this after last nights episode and I'm so...overwhelmed with emotions. It's incredible how much character development appeared between both characters to get where they are today. I'll admit it. I'm so proud that I was a Stydia shipper since day one! Although I love malia with all my heart (she's my lil werecutie!!) I just never felt that strong connection with her and stiles. Now stiles and Lydia, that's a different story. It's the story of a boy who had a crush on his classmate since he was eight. It didn't stop there. BECAUSE of all the crazy shit happening in beacon hills, they were able to happen. BECAUSE Peter hale killed his niece, they happened. (Thanks Peter btw not just for that but for biting Scott too BC there would be no show without you) So basically what I'm trying to say is that THIS IS IS THE PERFECT REPRESENTATION OF DEVELOPMENT

Stiles and Malia are progressing very well and steady. Malia was a coyote living in the woods for eight years, she doesn't understand whats right and wrong, She needs Stiles to teach her that. I understand that it will take time for her to adjust to 'normal' semi human lives. I can tell that she really cares for Stiles and Stiles for her. But, Stiles seriously really needs her. He chased of the same girl for ten years and she still ignores him even after knowing how he feels. I'm glad he starting to get over her. I have nothing against Lydia but I do not want them to be together. Not anymore anyways. I'm happy that he has found someone that loves him and chose him first. Lydia had plenty of chances to be with Stiles. She lost all of them. Besides, I think the writers are pairing her with Parrish. As you could see the moments with Lydia and Parrish, they were into one another, The writers wouldn't do that if something was going to happen with Parrish and Lydia in the future. Even Jeff said that it's most likely that they are going to stay friends. Shelley also made it clear that coyotes are a mate-for-life species, and those tendencies carry over into their werecoytoe counterparts. It seems for Malia, at this point in time, Stiles is most certainly the one her wild side sees as "the one." From an article not so long ago. Let it sink in and open your eyes that It's very unlikely Stydia will happen.
