Ramon reyes That is the thing about rushing to learn advance skills in anything. You gloss over the basics without fully mastering it. It’s hard for a person to work backwards unless they are willing to unlearn the advance skills/techniques and start again from the beginning the correct way. Something most individuals would not want to do. It’s hard to undo bad habits. Even though Zenitsu mastered the basics in all its form and he never got the chance to be taught or exposed to the advance skills that would give him an advantage. He can still eventually become advance and figure it out on his own with his mastery of the basics. That is when mastery of the basics in anything wins. Moral of the story, be patient, master the basic no matter how mundane and trivial you think it is.

Trying to run to gramps, he couldn't, as the spider lilies grabbed him. Zenitsu, the master of Iaijutsu (draw and attack) and there is a reason why it was chosen by the author for Zenitsu. Zenitsu is a simple man. Get married, have kids and die of all age just like Iaijutsu in it's simplicity and it's studies. Iaijutsu is like Zenitsu; can be deadly but used to make the life easier and don't have much death strikes.

She was actually the only person to catch on to what Douma was doing and tried to flee. She didn't get very far, but as we seeing in episode 20, she tries to give Inosuke and chance to live by droping him in the river. The really sad part is the panel not too long after where it's a flashback to a convo he, Tanjiro, and Zenitsu had where he said he didn't have a mother and even if he did, she probably didn't love him anyway while the two try and convince him otherwise. Then the realization hits him that he was the only thing that made his mother happy and he just starts to cry.
