♥ I'M SO SO SO SORRY THAT TODAY'S VIDEO IS UP SO LATE! :( I wasn't home for a few hours today and I was dealing with youtube being stupid with the copyright issues cuz I couldn't include one second even of the confetti song, so that's why there is no confetti soundtrack or video in this but I still explain the meaning behind the track.

Confetti was not well received by the fans it was so underrated and it still is, everything was just so messed up when they released it because of the pandemic and the girls doing solo projects. But i am happy that we got some bops in there

The album (and almost their whole discography) was out while there were so many legends out at the same time period (e.g. Kylie Minogue, ABBA, Adele). It’s so sad they have to compete with legends who are already in the game for YEARS. Almost a sense of ageism in a way 😭😢

Yeah, the pandemic harmed the release of Confetti but it’s still a treasure!

I actually think of this album as a goodbye to their last label. It makes a lot of sense for most songs. Confetti is them saying bye and on to the good times because they’re finally free. nice video!

The thing is syco music never treated the girls right, they've mistreated them so much.

@@PerrieXO … exactly. The lyrics say “shoulda left your ass some time ago. Didn’t love me then but now I know” the album just sounds like a goodbye album to syco and like they’re moving on to better things

Confetti is another amazing album yet underrated just with LM5. Incredible tracks and yet not many are official release. we all know who to blame for… anyway I’m disappointed that they only perform 6 tracks on the farewell tour knowingly they could perform more eg Holiday, Breathe, A Mess, Not A Pop Song and also I’m glad that it’s the final album being released under syco/rca and that now they’re free especially ending their contracts with the label that didn’t treated them right. Hopefully when they reunited back it would be new label + new management just like Westlife did

This album deserved better😭 This album isn't just Sweet Melody and Confetti the song. It has so much bobs like Gloves Up (it deserved a music video), A Mess Happy 4u, breath, even BUS/Holiday are bobs😭 Anyways...my top 3 are: 3) Breath 2) Not A Pop Song 1) Gloves Up

Fact: Jade said Break Up Song’s 80s sound was inspired by a time the girls played about on a synth keyboard. Also, it was well before the 80s and nostalgia was making a trendy comeback (thanks to Dua Lipa, The Weeknd and Kylie Minogue etc) x
