Direk Lav Diaz, I discovered yesterday about your film here on KZbin and I say I really likes it. I like the background style of the film which is black and white. Count on me, I'm a fan now. Keep on doing films like this like Ang babaeng humayo. All I can say is maganda tlga ang story.

Boring mga pelikula nito. Malalim pero boring. 11 hour film? Who would watch that?

I haven't seen his films yet but based on this short introduction/interview, he sounds interesting. The movie wouldn't be recognized at the Locarno Festival if he or his work isn't. Yung comment niya na "Kahit isang tao lang ang mano-od ng kanyang 11-hr na película, OK lang sa kanya", means he doesn't care of who approves of his films so long as he's given it his best.
