The workers might not have had a balaramapuram saree for their own...these people work so hard to make this happen

Handlooms are our inheritance from our ancestors. One has to protect it by wearing handloom products of weavers all over India 🇮🇳

Rightly said ! The handlooms have clothes for every season of an Indian. We need to keep wearing our heritage . Other wise we will lose our heritage 😓.

@@LA-hw6yv they need innovation and collaboration with fashion brand . Many India brand did that , sabasachi did very often .

@@superfluous5162 Agreed! And I think the best way to inculcate the heritage of India is from basics. Like in fashion institutions, if the professors uses more of our handloom products, this will give the future designers a good idea to use them .

Every region has its on ecological way of lifestyle. From weaving to wearing. It takes a whole lot of skills, knowledge and hardwork to ultimately create a masterpiece . The handlooms are loosing their glory due to us only. Instead of people choosing or dreaming or saving for clothes from ZARA, GIONNI ARMANI, etc , we need to keep our eyes open for such variety of handloom products that are constantly being sidelined amid the race of time. I'm not criticizing people buying from these stores . We are now inclined towards fashion and quantity rather than comfort and quality. We would wear a synthetic polyester t shirt just for style rather than a handloom pure cotton kurta or shirt in the scorching heat. We can buy 3 viscose fabric skirt instead of 1 pure cotton/silk saree. Our handloom products are made by people of our ethnicity. We are failing our people 😢.
