A divine test and worldly disobedience. People whom Allah has honored, but they deviated from His commands. A trick that appears innocent but is actually disobedient. The result was a divine punishment and a harsh lesson. So what were its details and what is this harsh punishment? *The Sabbath-breakers. Allah, the Almighty, transformed them with a curse from His Prophet David, peace be upon him. And Jesus, son of Mary, He transformed them into apes and pigs, so their youth turned into apes, and their elders into pigs. God Almighty said in Surat Al-Ma’idah: “Those who disbelieved among the Children of Israel were cursed by the tongue of David and Jesus, son of Mary.
