Hi, remember me? I make videos about games and stuff sometimes. I got lost in the woods and couldn't upload a full video for a while. Welp, guess it's time to go back in my cave and put all of my focus on my most important video yet. Stay tuned!

Man. Toy Story 2 was the first game I ever played, and the one that stuck with me as long as both the character of Buzz Lightyear and the movie the game was based on. It’s nice to finally get an in-depth history on the game that kickstarted my love for video games, and even some of TT’s other ventures such as their Crash Bandicoot, Bug’s Life, Haven, and their Star Command game as well. Plus, being able to play both Toy Story 2 and BLOSC on PS5 is the best gift I could ever ask for.

Man I remebered them as the developers of Crash Twinsanity (BTW that game was developed by their studio in Oxford, RIP to that studio) and The Lego Games

Have you ever played Sonic 3D Blast and Sonic R through Sonic Mega Collection and Sonic Gems Collection respectively on the GameCube? Those two Sonic games were also made by Traveller's Tales along with Sega.

I haven't played them but I talk about both in the video

Speaking of Travelers Tales, I think a video on Super Monkey Ball Adventure, Tt last game before switching to primary LEGO would make perfect sense. I bet there’s some interesting information on why Tt switch from making a verity of different games to mostly just LEGO with a couple exceptions.

Technically the last non-Lego game they ever made was The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspan from 2008.

@@Blotling360 Thanks. I picked it because I thought Meet The Wolfman was rather underrated and because it fit with a comment I made on a Chipmunks At 16 Speed: Sludgefest video.

Just making observations level by level because it's such a long vid. I love this because it's literally a recap of my young childhood and hearing someone else talk about it is great, even if the version is different (I had the PS1 version). I do have to say before I start. with the game itself II loved the history bit in thee fiirst 25 minutes, I loved A Bug's Life and this game as a kid and it's cool to know the full story of Burton's past. I watched his KZbin channel and he seemed like a really cool dude but didn't know about his and the company's early years. at 29:00 I agree even as a kid in the early 2000s I wanted that thing to turn off quicker 33:00 this level was my favorite as a kid, I just loved the vibe, and you are right about the lawnmower it's freaky and 35:00 my dad was the one who figured that out, it made me so happy to stop that damn car 38:00 I always wondered what the damn liquid he was shitting out was, thanks for bringing it up 39:40 I still vividly remember those little guys going "ovah here!" in my head, I loved this level too; 42:30 I DIDN'T KNOW THERE WERE ELEVATORS WHAT THE FUCK?! 46:30 Alleys and Gullies is where I stopped or got stuck first as a kid. I remember the pool areas being reallllly hard, ESPECIALLY the awning and gully at 48:00 51:30 slime guy scared the shit out of me as a kid, but I eventually learned I needed the green powerup thing I didn't know was there. But I agree I stopped same place as you here, cool your uncle beat him by being creative 54:30 This level was so cool to me as a kid, but i do remember the boxes room and race really bothered me. I think I cheated somehow and got up the boxes without those boots but I don't remember how I did it. When I played it again as an adult 5 years ago I realized I wasted too much time as a kid messing with that (1/2)

I always get these two levels at 58:00 confused with each other in my head it was surreal coming back to it a second time and realizing it wasn't 1 large Al's Toy Barn level. The boss at 1:00:00 was really cool when I played it through a second time to me. 1:01:00 is my least favorite level in the game, I remember hating it when playing it even as an adult and it's so grey and boring. I always forget this level even exists. 1:05:00 This level really impressed me for some reason when I replayed it. It's what solidified it as a great game to me. The design and challenges are super cool. 1:08:30 I'm glad everyone hates Lightyear Pixar really needs to avoid doing something like that again. As for the boss, I liked the part when he fell to his doom I thought the level at 1:10:00 was awesome on my replay, climbing up the conveyor belts and killing Pete was super cool. 1:13:00 This level seemed so huge when I first got there and the Slinky run was hard as hell the first time. Didn't even remember the blacksmith boss he was that forgettable. 1:16:00 I actually thought this level was kind of hype. I love it when the final boss consists of multiple bosses. 1:20:00 This is CRAZY. I never knew about this at all. No wonder why there are two versions. This was an incredibly fun video to watch. It was long but I still really enjoyed it all the way through. I will agree that Traveller's Tales' games have a very specific vibe to them and they can't be replicated. Some of my earliest gaming memories are me playing A Bug's Life and Toy Story 2 with my dad, mom and uncles as a kid, who all liked games to some extent too and liked solving the puzzles and bosses. Great but flawed games that will stick with me forever. Jon's team was special, they did a good job. Good licensed titles are rare to come by, I appreciate them.

This game really makes you think, what if Woody was lost forevah? Or he was Al's to keep? Stupid meme aside, awesome video! I never got past the second level when I was a kid playing on PJ64. I'm gonna give it a shot soon. I hope John Burton sees this video.

1:22:11 [Pocahontas and Aladdin] 👀 People complain about the Gerudo in Zelda wearing harem clothes not fitting to be outside in, but ignores that a *princess* is wearing it too in Aladdin. Yes she isn't outside much, but she's her father's daughter, not concubine. If it's not okay that the Japanese are doing it, should it not be okay for Americans to do it either.
