The United States Secret Service is a federal law enforcement agency under the Department of Homeland Security
They are charged with conducting criminal investigations and protecting the nation's leaders and their families.
In 1865, the Secret Service was first established.
With a reported one third of the currency in circulation being counterfeit at the time, the Secret Service was created to suppress counterfeit currency.
It was commissioned in Washington, D.C. as the "Secret Service Division" of the Department of the Treasury.
After the assassination of President William McKinley in 1901, Congress informally requested that the Secret Service provide presidential protection.
A year later, the Secret Service assumed full-time responsibility for presidential protection.
The Secret Service is mandated by Congress with two distinct and critical national security missions: protecting the nation's leaders, and safeguarding the financial and critical infrastructure of the United States.
Acceptance into the Secret Service is highly restrictive. In 2011, the Service accepted less than 1% of its 15,600 special agent applicants.
After the reactivation of Team Rainbow in 2015, One operator was recruited to bring his skills and expertise, to assist in the fight against terrorism, on a global scale.
This operator was named... Warden.

Born-and-raised Rio boy here. I lived in the nearby district of Belford-Roxo but I've constantly travelled between Belford-Roxo and Nova Iguaçu in order to go see my dad as It was safer to live with my grandma. Capitão's history seems pretty true from what I experienced growing up in the area before leaving for good during pacification campaign aka. security crisis. Firefights happened every 2 days or something. I remember one time where i had to stay late in my school because the street, Padre José beste, was part of the battleground of a conflict as comando vermelho (red comando) recently lost the area and they launched a raid... you could pick bullet capsules by the bucket load once it was over. That just one story out of many but over a decade later and I still scan my surroundings for anything out of place, I take time to learn the floor plan everywhere i go incase a situation demands stealth and I keep PDWs everywhere in my house and in my person even though where im at is magnetudes safer than that hellhole. Skillset quite usefull tho...

From what i’ve read and heard, it’s still good. You can’t really expect a work of fiction to be 100% accurate to the real world, plus a game like R6 which has been an ongoing series for years as both a video game and a book i’d kinda expect them to need to come up with new things to keep it interesting all these years
