Hi Rajen, how many panels would you recomend that a portfolio project has to be? And do you think that 3-5 good projects would be enough? Thanks, your tips and videos always helps a lot
@artofraj19913 ай бұрын
it doesn't matter how much panels as long as it is long enough for the recruiter to evaluate your acting, cinematography, storytelling, draftsmanship. Make sure your scene demonstrates your skills in all these areas.
@artofraj19913 ай бұрын
3 is the least 4-5 max sequences. Make sure all sequences are the same quality and standard. Do not put weak sequences in there.
@ArminHammur3 ай бұрын
Hey Raj, great video! As a storyboard artist, would it be a good idea to also include sequences that depict a style more for television or even live action, as long as they are still show your storytelling skills? Or is it best to stay specifically in feature with all of your sequences if that’s what you’re going for?
@artofraj19913 ай бұрын
I would say make a different portfolio for feature, for tv and for live action. Or edit your portfolio depending on the job type.

I have a question regarding to keep separate portfolio for different jobs. Can it be like different tabs in the same website? I think while it is true that your portfolio need to show your main focus, I think it's still nice to show the recruiter you have knowledge in background design or animation
@artofraj19913 ай бұрын
you can put all other work under one tab. Maybe " Personal work" but like I said in the video this won't really affect their decision if your storyboards are not at the standard they are looking for.
