pro tip is too pull on the string before you turn the tuner. always tune down first never go up first. always tune up to pitch and not down. i was terrified for 10 years to tune my guitar because strings always snapped so tune down first + stretch the string out then tune up
@avanicollle6 жыл бұрын
My fourth string is the only one that breaks, sometimes when I use different tunings it snaps. It’s broken right now idk why I’m trying to learn this song 😂
@royalcat105 жыл бұрын
I know this is really late but... Just make sure you change your strings regularly. The absolute, #1 reason why strings break is just because they get old. They're made out of steel, they rust, they weaken, and they break. Just change them every now and again. If you play infrequently, you can go a few months without changing. If you play frequently, you should go about a month before changing. If you're a touring musician, every week to every performance, depending on how hard you play. And obviously, if you almost never play then you almost never need to change strings anyways. Sweat and gunk from your hands are the primary causes of the deterioration if your strings. In seasons or climates when you are sweating more, you need to change more frequently than if you sweat less.

I had trouble with the amount of time to stay on each note, but I broke it down Basically you stay on each note until you hit the second string once, you never hit the second string note twice, so every time the picking pattern resets you should be on the next note.

i sometimes deal with the same thing. when you're tuning that string, turn the knob REALLY slow. don't do it fast or you'll add too much pressure to an already weak tuning peg.
