His technique during the bridge after the second chorus is awesome, dunno what the rest of it is though :P
@kickflipindy788 жыл бұрын

@BenjaminTheBatchelor6 жыл бұрын
It's not set up the way he wants it, his drums aren't coming through his monitors loud enough so he feels like he has to rimshot his snare every time, but you'll notice it's tilted forward too far for consistent comfortable rimshots, his kick technique is over exaggerated because he's trying to hit the drums too hard because (again, the drums aren't loud enough in his ears). His arms are flailing around with huge stick heights to try and hit everything as hard as possible. And with huge stick heights like that, it's really hard to be accurate on fills. He played the part exactly like the record, he just missed shit because of all the above.
@xer0cool5 жыл бұрын
Yeah just seems like he's over thinking all the fills.

@bobotosoto5 жыл бұрын
I've been playing drums for about 18 years. I'm impressed by this because it is actually quite a creative way to go about pop punk. It's a lot easier to shoot it down because of how stiff he looks playing it but that can be explained by any number of reasons that might be beyond his control. In terms of songwriting and technical ability, he is very much proficient for the genre. That bridge says it all. He is really appreciated in the drumming world for good reason.
@ajmndz184 жыл бұрын
Just listen to the writing bro. His posture or playing may look weird or awkward but I think that is how he plays, no need to adjust his playing style just for him to look great.
