Sean you’re a wonderful artist and humanist, because essentially, your art speaks to humanity. I can stare at humanity all day long and find joy in it, but view thousands of photographs on instagram in an hour, and forget what I saw in just minutes. Iness too is an amazing artist and has a wonderful soul, thanks for sharing her with us.

Thank you Sean for such fantastic work, this video reveals to me the depth of the artist's soul and the pain that exists there. She has shown that there is beauty in pain, and one can grow in wisdom and knowledge through this crucible of pain. Life is 10% of what happens to us in 90% of how we handle it, she has done a wonderful job! 😊

Sean, I wanted to congratulate you on your brilliant, brilliant channel. I discovered it a week ago and since then, you have been an almost constant companion as I go about my day. In fact, I have to ration myself to two or three of your videos per day, so I have time to fully digest the topics, otherwise I would have binged your entire back catalogue by now. The topics discussed in some of your videos are so profound, so enjoyable and so in-line with my own thoughts and philosophies that I wonder where you channel has been all my life. I always knew photography was an important, and somewhat underrated, art form but your presentation of it makes me fall in love with it all over again - a wonderful, giddy experience - making me feel like a better and more purposeful photographer, and for that, I can't thank you enough. This is now starting to sound like a love letter, I know, but I just wanted to convey my deep appreciation of your photography, your hard work, you intellect and your eloquence. Thanks again.

The worst kind for difficulties is dealing with a hard financial hardship and lack of support, that in the middle of depression, anxiety, that does not let you work, does not let you have the least amount of peace, does not let you live.

Hi Sean, I'm not really one to comment on KZbin. However, your latest set of films, the interviews, have been superb. On this on in particular, the look/colour of the films caught my attention. You're bringing a lot of 'normal' people to my attention and I'm rather enjoying this fact. I'm not an expert, just like to try and see what I can get photography wise. Nice work. Many thanks.

As someone who has always struggled with the $ of talent and art, how do you put a value on her work. It appears that prints start at $2700 US. Do you target a certain sector or do you try to put a price on what went into the final product? I found her work mesmerizing and I’m just curious how the income flow is affected given the print price. Awesome video and inspiring individual.

@@InessRychlik Thank you for the reply. Yes the financial side of anything is a cloudy image. As a recent retired personal my $ is now an object. I was so touched by your photographic journey that I reviewed your site and loved quite a few images but they are out of my league. I am Polish decent as well with relatives still in southern Poland. Unfortunately they will not cooperate with helping trace ancestry. Frustrating! Stay well and continue on your journey. You have amazing talent

Great interview and wonderful discovery. Iness delivers messages that are incredibly moving and inspiring. It's a bit frustrating that we can't get an insight into her creation process when she makes the photos because we can guess there is a huge amount of work behind each photo. But that preserves a part of mystery which makes her art even more interesting. The art of self portrait in photography is probably the most demanding and the most difficult to master. Thanks for this Sean!

I thought the early photos were beautiful and i didn’t really get the sensation of trauma with the first set of self portraits but the photos closer to the end were quite confronting. It’s sad that so many people, particularly women, feel traumatised by society. I’m glad her art practice has helped her. Her commentary was amazingly lucid, serious yet somehow light-hearted. Really an unexpected pleasure.
