You are right. It was the most logical ending. The FL suffered too much, and of course, everyone believed the side chick instead of the suffering FL. At least her pain and misery are over. It's everyone else who has to carry the burden of guilt and shame. It's a shame she couldn't get a happier ending, though.

The female lead is not weak. She portrayed the character of a desperate but kind daughter even in the end.😭😭she was outstanding. The ML sister character is so good, too bad they just introduced her 20minutes before the drama ends, FL fate shouldn't be like this had she ever came earlier. Even though the FL died, it's a good way to end her misery. Neither the ML nor the FL mother deserved her forgiveness. The villain character really embodied evil in her even in the last few minutes when she gaslighted the mother. Wished she could've died too but at least she made the mother remember forever the guilt that she did to her own daughter. The villain guy also got what he wanted, for the mother to suffer for the rest of her life for killing her own child. I wish a few more minutes to see how the mother goes crazy she killed her own daughter and for the brother to live in resentment for the rest of his life. This is like a Korean makjang drama, though ridiculous, but in this kind of drama, this is a suitable ending for the protagonist.

This female main exhibit has an attractive beauty, I initially watched because I liked seeing her facial features which looked naturally beautiful, it didn't look excessive but was very pleasing to look at, it was even more interesting when I saw her male co-stars, they looked suitable, so the plot and story with them as the cast made me watch until the end. What a tragic drama. Attractive cast and good acting with complicated storylines. The Fl suffered abuse the entire drama. She was separated from her family as a child and all she wanted was to find her mother and brother Yang Yang. Her determination to find them was interfered with by lies, schemes, her evil adoptive family and others trying to be the lost daughter of the Zhou family. It is amazing that the Fl was hidden in plain sight unbeknownst to her family. It sad that her biological mother caused her to lose her baby believing that she was not her daughter but believed the fake one. The producer thought of almost every possible way for this Fl to be tormented until the end. At the end, Wan Wan was stabbed protecting her family and it was left to your imagination that she succumbed to her wounds and saw death as a release. Saddening to watch.
