Mysterious Middle East

Күн бұрын

Where is the real Mount Sinai? Egypt, Saudi Arabia or somewhere in the Negev Desert According to all of our geography and history books, Egypt’s Mount Sinai (otherwise known as Jebel Moussa) exists within the Sinai Peninsula. However, across the region, there has been growing evidence suggesting that those books maybe completely wrong. From fringe archeologists Zacharia Sitchin, Ron Wyatt, Vadim Chernobrov and the Cosmopoisk organization, to slightly more mainstream individuals and theorists and Emmanuel Anati and The Doubting Thomas Research Foundation, will any of their work inform us on the true location of Mount Sinai.

First of all, thanks to Keywan for helping out with this episode for the awesome assist with his voice over. Please check out his personal channel. There's a link in the description box above. Secondly there's a couple of glitches in the audio around the 11:19 mark that occurred during the edit. This was a problem from my end that I missed. Just read the subtitles for clarification. Thirdly this episode is the first of a trilogy of episodes focused in and around the Levant. Part two is on its way and is somewhat disturbing in an existential Lovecraftian horror way, but also very trippy. Part one (this current episode) was originally a very deep dive into The Doubting Thomas Foundations claims about Mt. Sinai being in KSA, or the Negev desert. But just before recording I found out about an organization called Cosmopoisk and their doomed expedition based on Zakaria Sitchin's research into Sinai, which appeared to have led to the extremely weird death of one of the team, and caused three others to get sick. For me this is an infinitely more interesting topic that's mainly been covered in Russian press, and virtually untouched in English. Because of this, this whole episode went through a complete re-write where I decided to focus on that instead, hence the long delay.

I thought it important to tell you all at Mysterious Middle East, that just because the Vatican decides to pronounce something doesn't mean that every Christian out there says, "Well shucks! It must be true, then!" Catholics may take it as fact, but the Vatican does not speak for all Christendom as they may think or say they do. I also have to say that there may be mysteries of the Bible that we are simply not meant to know or understand in this life. That being said, I have thoroughly enjoyed the video, and am looking forward to other installments :)

whatchu talkin' bout man!, all your videos are trippy, with most being an existential crisis... I mean, if Kathy's videos are Stone Cold fact, we are in trouble if we're not right with the Creator and I'm okay with putting on my faith, belief and trust in my King, Jesus Christ. You guys do a really good job with these videos, they are levels above anything the History channel, discover or any of the large production houses have put together and that's pretty incredible. For I have to believe that although they don't have an unlimited budget, they definitely have a bigger one than most, have access to technology and teams of people that are working on their productions and I would bet and that you guys are skeleton crew of just highly talented, very creative and focused dudes that have a passion for sharing this knowledge that it seemingly been lost in the sands of time. So in true humble thankfulness, please know that you are truly appreciated and I know I am truly looking forward to the next one..

I don't know a whole lot about the Middle East but is always really drawn my attention and interesting thoughts years ago I started to read a books on Alchemy and certain things is 42-year-old High School Dropout from around Chicago area I experienced Supernatural stuff and I moved into a house with devil worship was once done by some teenagers I laughed when I was told by neighbors like it was a problem and I don't believe in such things worried about with some teenage kids did I was just kidding myself the time but yes I was wrong things started happening shortly after that me and my brother family and friends. I changed my life and I had to admit that there are things and at this point I've learned a lot about science and universe and absolutely sure there has to be a God for the scientific reasons purposes. As the millions of amazing scientific reasons that we are alive and can survive and get along in this universe which is devoid of life in the million things to support it elsewhere. And the new theories that life Came From Another Dimension that's why we don't see it anywhere else other than here but also too because somehow the Earth was designed specifically to cradle life. These books I was reading on Alchemy with some Islamic Alchemy and that really I found quite amazing and then I had read the Quran at one point from the library and I already read the Bible a few times after my paranormal is nice definitely felt it the word god probably in any language is an effect on Darkness and unclean things.

I lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for 4 years as a military contractor. I worked all over the nation. Driving from Riyadh to Jeddah I saw miles of black rock that looked like ancient lave flows and rocks. Medina looks to be in an ancient volcano zone. Taif over looks Mecca which looks like a volcano zone. The entire nation needs a world wide effort of archeological studies. Fascinating views along the Red Sea coast from the mountains.

So fascinating! I enjoy these videos immensely, but when it comes to having an opinion on where it might be, I'm not qualified to even try. What bothers me sometimes while watching archeology videos is how close minded the "establishment" seems when it's conclusions are questioned. I love the questions! I love having them presented to me with the pros & cons so that I can feel like I have as many angles as possible to ponder. Thank you for your work, I enjoy it.

The Saudi Arabian location has the most accurate, corresponding, geological, seismological, Scriptural/ Biblical, archaeological, anthropological, historical evidence to my knowledge. Jeremiah refers to the Mt. of God being in Arabia, in The Old Testament, & even the Apostle Paul when he was first converted to Christ after having a vision of the Risen Lord on the road to Damascus, & after he was healed of his 3-day blindness by the Holy Ghost through Ananias, the Evangelist Luke, writing of Paul in Acts of the Apostles, said that when Peter traveled to Babylon to spread the Gospel to the people there, Paul meanwhile recorded that he traveled to Arabia, where he wrote that the Mt. of God was, in order for him to spend a long, concentrated period of time praying & fasting & consecrating himself to God, similar to that which Jesus did in His 40 days of isolation in the Wilderness of the desert of Zin, in the Sinau peninsula, according to the Gospels.

Great video mashallah! One of the most interesting theories that most people ignore is that the real Mount Sinai is Jebel Madhbah in Petra, Jordan. This theory was first proposed by Ditlef Nielsen in 1927 and has been championed by Graham Phillips in his book "The Templars and the Ark of the Covenant." I have to say that I find the evidence more compelling to support this locale than the others which have been proposed. I hope you are able to look into this theory and explore it in a future episode. Thank you and salaam!

It's actually very compelling to note that if Israelites took 40years to move to Canan from Egypt, meaning that they were moving in loops which is naturally bound to create confusion in landmarks along the trek, the desert environment itself doesn't make it any better for the confused masses in constant doubt with definitely.

They wandered for 40yrs as a punishment from God because a group of 12 men were sent out to get information about Canaan for 40 days. When they returned with a report for Moses they gave him false information because they believed God was setting them up to fail. They were scared and believed that the they didn't have a chance against the people of Canaan. So God made them roam the desert for 40yrs, which was how long it took every man of that generation to die. Only Joshua and Caleb were permitted to continue on to the Promised Land because when they returned they were the only 2 who didn't tell falsehoods.

I pay attention, and have watched you grow. The voice over audio track is sounding much better as you go along. Curious about what processing is being done in post mix with that track. Editing is awesome. Video is beautiful, stunning at times. Production/storytelling is totally on point. The score/music... people, just... wow. I love it. Takes me into so many feels. I cranked it in my studio over my monitors, such a powerful composition/arrangement/production...every note. Curious what programs/DAW the composers, and production use. Thanks again for the knowledge, and the skills to share it. Peace.

Thanks. I try to approach most episodes like I am producing a documentary movie, not KZbin video 😅, so I just source audio from different no copyright artists that can capture that aesthetic with realistic atmospheric orchestral music. Voice over audio is done entirely by my friends who help out and largely out of my control, but the latest FCPX update has a new audio feature that instantly “fixes” audio imperfections 😉

@@MysteriousMiddleEast Hey there, thanks for answering. very cool on the fcp auto fixing the audio.. even though it's putting me out of a job 🤣, i am all for an easier creative workflow, and am always searching for tools to get the engineer me out of the way to allow the artist me to create. always a juggle 🤣. Just starting to learn my way around FCP myself, i am a longtime Sony Vegas suite user, which suited me, being an audio engineer/musician. i used FCP for a bit over a decade ago and am having fun exploring it again. I was going to suggest using a compressor, followed by limiter on the vocal overdub audio channel to control the dynamic range, "tightening up" that track (there are some really awesome free audio vst tools out there for win/mac that would do the job very well). Watched one of your videos last night, on giants. Excellent, again. It definitely shows, immediately in my opinion, that you take a feature film approach just as you say. Beautiful. thanks again for nerd chatting with me🤣. Peace!

Of course it cannot go unsaid superb work gentlemen! The enjoyment from the information contained and subject matter is why I'm glad I found this channel and of course it's professional presentation. Lastly I get a real kick out of the intro music! This presentation along with other topics discussed need a new and discourse to find what we already seem to be after in way shape or form, is truth! Open mindedness is of paramount importance. For me that means thaton approaching these topics I have an inherent prejudice on what is contrary to info I received concerning this matter which develops over time which emanate from the culture, religion, family traditions, institutions of learning I've been exposed to. So where does that leave me in my search knowledge and truth is to accept these facts so I can experience a renewed way as we move closer to the Truth which is transcendent and this channel is a very big part of my journey, thanks again!

Ron Wyatt was an AMERICAN Researcher AND the debacle with "not having the correct permits" was about as honest and true as a Monty Python skit about having correct permits... I have no doubts that it was something like this, Ron Wyatt and his team have the right permits, they made sure to dot all the i's and cross all the t's , but because the permits were signed in the West of Saudi Arabia and they were then digging in the east, the permits needed to be written in the language of the Eastern Saudis, which although is the same, needs to be written by a Saudi from the area with the right hand and not the left. Or some bullshit like that and their digging an excavation permits we're only good on every first Tuesday of the month, when the when the weather in the desert was under 110°, which only happens every 100,000 years, on a Tuesday... Amazing video and although you got that little bit wrong absolutely love this channel. Oh yeah, AND I thought they had found this Mount Sinai, looks more like a hill not a mountain and it was completely black compared to all the other mountains around it as the presence of the Holy Father literally scorched the Earth... At least that's what it looked like to me and if I believed in the Holy Father and Jesus Christ before, this is just another FACT that puts a smile on my face...

it is already disturbing enough to refer to petroglyphs when we know that at the same time men were already living in cities. Mount Sinai is above all the place chosen for a temporary event, an appointment for a divine Revelation which will found a new era. it is not on this Mount that the Children of Israel settled, so we can assume that they will leave the least traces of their presence there.

Thank you for bringing the Middle East to me, since I can't read Arabic or go there in person. I was learning to read and write arabic when I was a freshman in High School. Then my parents found out I was hanging around a Middle Eastern College student, who was teaching me. He lived in an apartment house, two homes down from us. (it's a house, a lady rented extra rooms out to the middle eastern college students b/c THEY were nice, polite and non destructive, as opposed to American college students who party often and are loud and destructive. These men didn't drink or party and committed to their faith.) I learned so much in that short yr. After getting caught several times talking to this man, my folks finally said they would invite him over and talk with him. Turned out to be totally awesome. I was not allowed to be in the damn room. I was, however: very SHOCKED my folks were being so open minded finally. They actually fell in love with the man and to this day, TO THIS DAY. I know exactly where he is and have spoken with him and he remembers me and my folks, very well. As I said, I was a freshman in high school. A girl. He was attending our local college. I'm 55 yrs old now. Despite the political world. I STILL LOVE the Middle East and all it's treasures. I mean these are the lands where it all began. These are the lands we get our maths from. Our science, our astronomy and so much more from. btw..I am Native American. Maybe that's why my folks were much more open to foreigners. IDK. This is a wonderful channel, that I only found one video prior to this one. I'm hooked. Dedicated to: Ghassan Mohammed Sabha. You changed my life and opened new worlds for me. This channel will help me on my journey for wisdom and knowledge.

I'm in complete disagreement with most of what's related in this video. I strongly believe that جبل الاوس or جبل موسى is located in modern day Saudi Arabia, there's no doubt about it due to many evidences including in the bottom of the Red Sea.

Fascinating. Have you read Kamal Salibi’s “The Bible Came from Arabia”? The segment about Moses and Jethero sprung it to mind; it makes me wonder if there is a connection between the name Jethero and the ancient city Yathrib (now Madinah).

Didn't the British archaeological Society or whatever they called themselves discover the mountain that Moses went to and it was filled with those vaults of the white powder or white monatomic gold or showbread, whatsthis or whatever other names they had for it. I believe it was around the turn of the century late 1800s maybe. Very interesting story I read the original archaeological report I forget the sir archaeologist's name.

@@misterbplays archaeologist Robert Sephr does he video on it but you won't be able to find it on KZbin. I don't watch Ancient Aliens I imagine they expanded on it with fiction if they did a show on it, but I've read a legit report by the archaeologist it was the temple that was very interesting because it wasn't just the Egyptian but Sumerian and other culture type finds inside it.

Interesting idea- the Hebrew word Sin means to miss the target. And according to Joshua 8:28 Ai is translated as a Heap of Ruins. So Mt Sinai more or less means to miss being the king of the hill of all that is meaningless. Amazing that the current Zeitgeist is frequently about the influence of Ai. Thanks for your series. Great job and looking forward to more.

One person I remember had mentioned that Mount Sinai was most likely a volcano and that god was also known as Vulcan and/or Sin. Keeping in mind that one has to believe in the biblical events as they happened which I'm not saying they didn't but there are others that are quoting a severe lack of evidence to support anything that happened in the old testament. My answer is that they are looking in the wrong areas and associating the wrong names and time periods with these events. Perhaps it is purposeful.

Yeah I could totally see how Moses the guy who is walking around in the desert constantly would be confused about what in the hell a bush looked like. It wasn't exactly a dolphin or a polar bear. I want to be clear that beyond that I love the video

You should do a video about Moses: he was part of the royal family and was initiated in the secret technologys that the Egyptians inherited from the Atlantean civilization. Plato speaks about an Egyptian priest that told him that their forefathers had the technology to separate the water with some kind of forcefield. So, the Pharo did not chase Mosese in order to retrieve the Jewish slaves, but the technology that Moses has stolen from the Egyptians and used it against them aka the Red Sea "miracle" of water separation.
