Meursault did not surrender to death rather he surrendered to nothingness. The world and the social rules seemed to be absurd to him. He felt that since the end of life is nothing there is no need to act of living at all. He tried to find answers about the absurd world from his own point of view. He is disturbed regarding why everybody is doing the same things everyday. You did not point out the issues like existentialism and meaninglessness of life. Make a good review. Thanks.

Perspective, I think differs on the basis of people. If we practically think, most of the time in life, we are controlled by the society and systems. We actually give too much priority to people though their opinions don’t really matter in life. It’s sad to think if I die someday, people will forget me within some days and my existence wouldn’t really matter. It’s just so hard to accept. Thanks for sharing this new perspective.
