And this is why I miss the Iron Man 3: The Office Game mobile game. For those that never heard/played of it, it was an Iron Man styled infinite runner game where you’d fly for as long as you could while avoiding damage, collecting resources, and defeating enemies, and encountering Iron Man villains like Modok and Crimson Dynamo. What was cool about it was that you could unlock almost all of the various Iron Man armors that were designed for the movie, as well as info about each one. I wish it was still around.

god this suit is my absolute favorite among the armors introduced in Iron Man 3 and while Im glad it was one of the ones we got to see Tony wear in the final battle, Im sad it just got fuckin BISECTED and that was the last we saw of it getting the concept art that showcased Mark 40's bullet mode was fantastic and Im glad you drew attention to that feature here

Nano tech was neat but I like the old fashioned shell and servo suits.

About that, the Nanotech really destroyed the Shotgun Armor in every possible way. Nanotech can go to space with literally no gaps on the armor and a single big thruster on the back with literally limitless weapons and shield combinations.

Everyone is hating on the nano suits but ya gotta admit that it makes sense. Tony facing an enemy that can slice open his suits with one swing, he needed to make one that could regenerate in case this would happen again and the nano suit was the result. But it should've had it's own thing and sound effects in order to make it more alive like its predecessors insead of being all like bloop done armor is up.

I'd argue the vulnerability factor when in top speed mode is virtually null, considering most aamrams and aams or sams can't get enough speed to cover the distance an to even lock on, considering how smal and possibly stealthy the armour is

I really hate the micro and nano armour stuff the movies go into. It felt like Toney was superhuman vs a human with a super suit. If you know what I mean. The mechanical transitions into the suits were in my opinion way better as mechanical suits. I hated that the suits manifested from basically nowhere as the movies went on. The mass the suits had to become were not equating to how they were stored. It’s was just to unbelievable if that even makes sense ina superhero move.

Literally one of my favorite suits ever, and I just discovered this channel too. Loving that you bring light and attention to things so undermined, like, unfortunately, this suit. I love that bullet mode was featured. One recommendation and an irk for me though, and it's to reduce the volume of sound effects going for animation. It's overlapping your voice, and the interesting stuff you say unfortunately is unintelligible. All in all though, outstanding stuff man.

Would be a bit more aerodynamic when traveling in the bullet trajectory angle if instead of the helmet looking forward as if to see what direction it is traveling.....the helmet stays In a downward position utilizing a small camera mounted on the crown of the helmet that displays on Tony's optical viewing screens inside the armor. Sometimes in movies we overlook small things like the fact the eye slits on Tony's helmet aren't just simply his eyes looking thru lenses in fact those are cameras that are sending the video signal to the screen display on the inside of his helmet that he is viewing with his eyes which also displays the other elements of his suit such as damage...telemetry.... his targeting information and also phone calls he receives from pepper or rhodey while in flight😉

actually Ironman design is so flawed... when Ironman suit flys they show fire at feet and hands.. but in reality ironmans suit doesnt have any gas to burn to create thurst.... it uses nuclear energy to keep the suit functioning. so in short energy cannot create fire... so its capability to fly doesnt make sense to me...

Looks like he needed stabilizers (there are reasons missiles have them .... otherwise they spin ... vectoring feet thrusters might help, stabilizers sure work on real supersonic missiles/rockets/jets). Also, keeping your head looking "up" (forward) from a prone position like that for extended periods of time is cumbersome (and incredibly unergonomic). Seems like cameras on the top of the head would allow him to look straight forward and still see what was going on above him (he would be looking down or whatever and seeing in front of where he was traveling). Speaking as a person who rides a supersport motorcycle. A lot of time looking up is incredibly uncomfortable after a while. And, the direction his face is pointed doesn't have to matter with the tech he has.
