ok but the mermaid swimming is actually insane talent. those silicone tails are extremely heavy and you have to entirely reprogram the way you were taught to swim in order to not drown when using one. and holding his breath for that long is also impressive. i've used a lighter tail once or twice at a friends house and she was adamant about teaching me correctly and not letting me in the deep end because of the drown risk. you have to be a very strong swimmer. i don't think i would actually roleplay as a mermaid or drive a long ways to use a tail, though. plus those tails are apparently thousands
