Michael Timothy Three possibilities: 1: They were arrested and never got the chance to return to the burial site. 2: They died and never got the chance to return to the burial site. 3: What they buried isn't movable and the landscape changed since they last buried it. What was once in the middle of nowhere is now a neighborhood, and so on.

We used to find really random stuff in the woods on our property. A bunch of the usual litter like cans and glass bottles but some other things like several pairs of shoes: women’s, men’s and children’s styles and sizes. I pulled trash bags full of stuff out of there and never made a dent in it! It was a nice house and area, we don’t know why they would put all that stuff in the woods instead of just throwing it in the trash can.

My yard used to be my family’s dump 105 years before me. So there’s all sorts of things that come to the surface when it rains and wash the dirt away. There’s glass medicine bottles, but mostly screws, marbles, scrap metal, tiles, glass, screws, nails etc sometimes you find something interesting but yeah

In the late 80s, my best friend's parents bought a land lot to build their house, in a small Greek town. They found an ancient cemetery in the ground. Archaeology department checked it, took what was valuable and gave the OK to build. I still think it was so cool. I still remember a skeleton with the head tilted, the mouth open and its hands on his belly like someone has stabbed him or something.

I found a really old metal army man. The metal base around the feet is chipped and most of the paint is in tact but is also chipped. Every time I look at it I debate whether or not I should repaint it. I kinda like the look of the paint cuz it shows how old it really is. I also found an old marble. My house was built on part of a farm in the 60s so I imagine it was from the son of a farmer from before. I used to hide coins in in very shallow holes for my sister to find and I just found those while digging them.
