7:40 PLEASE NOTE - A time frame is considered bullish when it is above its opening price, and a time frame is considered bearish when it is below its opening price. So a trader should look at the last candle of each time frame's chart. The example shown has a red bar on the 5 minute. For it to be FTFC, the 5 minute would have to be a bullish bar, which would indicate that it is above its opening price.

Thank you for the video. To me the hardest part is trading a combo live, because the live candle hasn't closed yet so you don't really know if it will be a 2 or a 3 thus you don't know which combo it is. Also. is it still a 1 if the wicks exceeded the previous candle but the body closed within the range previous candle?

That is the hardest part, and what would probably help with that is significant backtesting and developing a risk management strategy. The types of STRAT bars do not depend on the body close, so they include wicks. Does this make sense? Also, we can create a video on some of these concepts if you'd like.
